At one time I had planned to do that. If you look at the list of 180+ videos on my channel you will find that I tend to jump from one type of subject to another. I like to share whatever my current project idea is then move on to a different subject. If you live in a relatively dry climate with an abundant supply of fresh water I think you could make something that is practical on a large scale. Here in South Carolina is too humid for it to be practical.

good day, what reflective material do you use in that project?
@anisotropicplus
@anisotropicplus 2 күн бұрын
It was nine years ago and what I used was a sample of reflective polished aluminum that I was able to obtain from a bulk supplier to large solar projects. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the vendor. I recommend doing some Google and Bing with Chat GPT 4 searches for “polished aluminum mirrors for solar collectors”. A manufacturer of the aluminum foil or the solar collectors can probably direct you to the right vendor. Just call the tech service people and start asking questions.

Question…how do I get all my photos in one place ? When I try to upload a photo that I know is in on my IPad it only shows me a small collection of them. Please please help this old boomer😂
@anisotropicplus
@anisotropicplus 22 күн бұрын
Thanks for your question. I also am an old boomer so we are even on age. Normally when you take a photo with your iPad it should appear in your photos app. If you take a picture with your iPhone and send it to your iPad via airdrop it will appear in your photos app. If for some reason you don’t have a photos app on your iPad you can download it from the App Store. It is possible to put pictures in your “Files” folder, if you have some there you can click on “save image” in the share drop down menu and it will automatically go into your Photos app. If someone sends you a photo via messages or email you should be able to click on “save image” and put it in your Photos app. Within the Photos app you can organize your photos into albums. I hope this helps. If you have additional questions please reply back to me.

Since the combine photos shortcut app is a standard Apple app it is designed to access photos from the standard Apple “Photos” app. If you are still having problems saving your photos to the Apple Photos app you could contact Apple for tech support. I got the following suggestions from Microsoft’s Bing with Copilot and Chat GPT 4. To get tech support for your iPad from an Apple Store, you can follow these steps: Visit the Official Apple Support Website: You can find a wealth of information and resources for iPad support, including setting up your device, backing up data, and troubleshooting common issues1. Contact Apple Support: You can call Apple’s customer support at 1-800-275-2273 in the United States. Be ready with your device’s serial number to expedite the process2. Use the Apple Support App: Download and use the Apple Support app for personalized assistance with your Apple products1. Make a Genius Bar Appointment: Schedule an appointment at a Genius Bar in your nearest Apple Store for in-person tech support. You can find your nearest store and schedule an appointment through Apple’s retail list3. Start a Repair Online: If you need a repair, you can start the process online by telling Apple what’s going on with your iPad, and they’ll guide you through the support options1. Remember, if you have AppleCare+, you can get unlimited repairs for accidental damage protection and 24/7 priority access to Apple experts1. For immediate assistance, visiting an Apple Store and speaking directly with an expert is often the quickest way to resolve technical issues.

That is a good question. I did not actually try to install it in a standard hot water heater. South Carolina. When I had it installed in 2018 there was a federal 30% tax credit and South Carolina had a 25% credit. Thankfully I stopped waiting and just did it and it was one of my better decisions. Now that we have a Bolt EV and a Tesla Model 3 it is really paying off. I still would like to have a whole house back up battery or have a bidirectional EV that could function as a backup battery during power failures. We have a grid sensing string inverter that will not deliver power to the house during grid power failures. Some microinverters may still work when the grid is down. Make sure you look at all the newest options before you install a system.

The weight increases when the center of mass is accelerating upwards, and decreases when the center of mass is accelerating downwards. The weight remains constant if there is no vertical acceleration, whether or not the the center of mass is moving up or down at constant velocity. This is the same as passengers in an elevator, they only feel a change in force when the elevator is accelerating, not when it's moving at constant velocity.

It just depends on your amount of experience troubleshooting technical issues. Most people interested in purchasing the hybrid hot water heaters already understand the science and why they are efficient. Other non scientific people get interested when they find out how much they can save on their power bill. Rheem does need to make sure they improve their manufacturing processes to minimize defects.

The best way to find out what is wrong with the hot water heater is to call the Rheem technical support. Per technical support, the error code A004 could be caused by either low refrigerant or bad thermo sensors. My heat gun was sensing the temperature drop. She is sending me 3 thermal sensors for me to replace I found out the labor warranty is only good for the first year. It's up to to replace the parts or hire out to your local repair shop.😮

With the cicada's I wonder how the yellow diesel will effect them?
@anisotropicplus
@anisotropicplus 2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. I am not sure how to answer your question. I did a video on earwigs accumulating under the caps of my yellow diesel fuel containers and a video on gnats being attracted to my yellow diesel fuel containers and apparently being killed on contact with any surface diesel on the container. I have not personally observed cicadas, earwigs, ants or any other insects being attracted to the diesel containers. In the case of the fire ant mounds in our pastures I have not seen any other insects in the mounds. I would not recommend broad application of insect control soap and just focus on gardens or fire ant mounds. Since Dawn biodegrades fairly quickly it should not retain any long lasting insecticidal effect. We have never had a major problem with cicadas so we have not investigated any cicada specific methods of control.

try filling a flat piece of plastic with the NaCl solution of the same dimensions of the aluminum bar and have the magnet slide down over the top of the bar in the same way it slides over the top of the aluminum bar. probably nothing, but I would like to see it. I would suggest there are still eddy currents, but the force on the magnet is negligible due to the fluid nature of the solution.
