NIce, nice. I like your attitude about MISunderstood law of attraction in the new age ideology, today. HOWEVER I wonder, what is difference between VASANA AND SYNCHRONICITY of Jung?
@MindfulSoul
@MindfulSoul Ай бұрын
@JivaZdral Vasana, in modern psychological terms, is similar to conditioning that living beings are subject to in their default state. The conditioning along with human needs creates the 'desire imprints' that manifest as certain behavioral tendencies. This may or may not be compulsive behaviors (like addiction). But these behaviors continue due to lack of awareness of their origin. As for Jung's sychronicity, it's the occurence of external events that seem to be connected with what goes on in one's mind. Synchronicity is a larger phenomena that humans do not have conscious control over. However, humans can become aware of their vasanas, dissolve/shed the dysfunctional aspects of the vasanas, thereby consciously designing a life of joy and freedom.

@@MindfulSoul Thank you. :) This about vasanas, I understand. Nicely you told. Also, similar my guru told me. Just, whole pumped up story about "stolen" word SYNCHRONICITY is kind of enigma which I am avoiding but here you reminded me. Misinterpret/misunderstood from Jung maybe, seems to me, in a case of plenty of "seekers". Like also plenty of other using words by new age ideology(almost religion) haha. Namaha

I see contradiction in his idea of motivelessness. Afterall, Sri Raman was man and therefore fallible. Desire sets the wheels of manifestation into motion. The desire for self-realisation is the path to union with the Higher Self. So no Master Sri Raman, with all due respect, your extreme view is wrongheaded. We as human beings inhabiting flesh and blood must have the desire for union with the all to achieve said union. Or in other words, FOH!

More like the total opposite. When one has reached “realisation” is basically to realise eating sentient beings is wrong, and thus should now change to FRUITARIANISM. Carbon fuel for carbon beings - that is NEVER MENTIONED BY ANY PSYOP SPIRITUALIST quite simply because they don’t want it getting out. There are many 150+ year old fruitarians. Don’t tell anyone 🤫

Very good ...sri Ramana basic answer is ...Realize that you are Btahman and sexual thoughts will disappear.....eisier said than done !
@MindfulSoul
@MindfulSoul 3 ай бұрын
i would invite you to reflect on your words 'easier said than done'. from where is arising the concept of 'easy' and 'difficult'? what is the emotional tone - is it frustration? is it resignation? is it ridicule? realizing this could lead you to the 'light bulb' moment. Besides, it is not as glib as 'realize you are brahman, and sexual thoughts will disappear'. there is no compulsion or force on anyone to realize they are brahman. Although, everyone has that option, cuz that is the ultimate nature of the soul. Realization is all about shedding the social conditioning, the prejudices and the ego's defense mechanisms. Realization leads to natural sublimation of one's sexuality but it doesn't have to 'kill' the body's needs. A biological form has in-built needs such as hunger, thirst etc. sexuality is part of it, and by it nature, it can create new karma in the world - good or bad. A realized person may still be sexual, but the person is also wise (by the definition of realization) to know when to give the outlet to it, and when to sublimate it.

My experience of authentic surrender which is non transactional is present when one realizes "God" or the Self not only knows everything about us but also knows utterly what is in our highest good. We then allow that :"flow of power" to be expressed. When that understanding deepens, resistance is more able to be dissolved.

any instruction received should be cross checked with a 3 point check system Sadhu (previous acharyas/ Guru (present Guru)/ Saastra ( Scriptural texts), & only if it tallies with all these 3, can the instruction be accepted. this Saint’s instruction is contradicting Lord Krishna’s instruction in the Gita , & therefore has to be rejected . in the Bhagavad Gita, chapter 9 verse 26 BG. 9.26 patraṁ puṣpaṁ phalaṁ toyaṁ yo me bhaktyā prayacchati tad ahaṁ bhakty-upahṛtam aśnāmi prayatātmanaḥ Translation: If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I will accept it. Purport: For the intelligent person, it is essential to be in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, engaged in the transcendental loving service of the Lord, in order to achieve a permanent, blissful abode for eternal happiness. The process of achieving such a marvelous result is very easy and can be attempted even by the poorest of the poor, without any kind of qualification. The only qualification required in this connection is to be a pure devotee of the Lord. It does not matter what one is or where one is situated. The process is so easy that even a leaf or a little water or fruit can be offered to the Supreme Lord in genuine love and the Lord will be pleased to accept it. No one, therefore, can be barred from Kṛṣṇa consciousness, because it is so easy and universal. Who is such a fool that he does not want to be Kṛṣṇa conscious by this simple method and thus attain the highest perfectional life of eternity, bliss and knowledge? Kṛṣṇa wants only loving service and nothing more. Kṛṣṇa accepts even a little flower from His pure devotee. He does not want any kind of offering from a nondevotee. He is not in need of anything from anyone, because He is self-sufficient, and yet He accepts the offering of His devotee in an exchange of love and affection. To develop Kṛṣṇa consciousness is the highest perfection of life. Bhakti is mentioned twice in this verse in order to declare more emphatically that bhakti, or devotional service, is the only means to approach Kṛṣṇa. No other condition, such as becoming a brāhmaṇa, a learned scholar, a very rich man or a great philosopher, can induce Kṛṣṇa to accept some offering. Without the basic principle of bhakti, nothing can induce the Lord to agree to accept anything from anyone. Bhakti is never causal. The process is eternal. It is direct action in service to the absolute whole. Here Lord Kṛṣṇa, having established that He is the only enjoyer, the primeval Lord and the real object of all sacrificial offerings, reveals what types of sacrifices He desires to be offered. If one wishes to engage in devotional service to the Supreme in order to be purified and to reach the goal of life - the transcendental loving service of God - then one should find out what the Lord desires of him. One who loves Kṛṣṇa will give Him whatever He wants, and he avoids offering anything which is undesirable or unasked. Thus meat, fish and eggs should not be offered to Kṛṣṇa. If He desired such things as offerings, He would have said so. Instead He clearly requests that a leaf, fruit, flowers and water be given to Him, and He says of this offering, “I will accept it.” Therefore, we should understand that He will not accept meat, fish and eggs. Vegetables, grains, fruits, milk and water are the proper foods for human beings and are prescribed by Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself. Whatever else we eat cannot be offered to Him, since He will not accept it. Thus we cannot be acting on the level of loving devotion if we offer such foods. In the Third Chapter, verse 13, Śrī Kṛṣṇa explains that only the remains of sacrifice are purified and fit for consumption by those who are seeking advancement in life and release from the clutches of the material entanglement. Those who do not make an offering of their food, He says in the same verse, are eating only sin. In other words, their every mouthful is simply deepening their involvement in the complexities of material nature. But preparing nice, simple vegetable dishes, offering them before the picture or Deity of Lord Kṛṣṇa and bowing down and praying for Him to accept such a humble offering enable one to advance steadily in life, to purify the body, and to create fine brain tissues which will lead to clear thinking. Above all, the offering should be made with an attitude of love. Kṛṣṇa has no need of food, since He already possesses everything that be, yet He will accept the offering of one who desires to please Him in that way. The important element, in preparation, in serving and in offering, is to act with love for Kṛṣṇa. The impersonalist philosophers, who wish to maintain that the Absolute Truth is without senses, cannot comprehend this verse of Bhagavad-gītā. To them, it is either a metaphor or proof of the mundane character of Kṛṣṇa, the speaker of the Bhagavad-gītā. But, in actuality, Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Godhead, has senses, and it is stated that His senses are interchangeable; in other words, one sense can perform the function of any other. This is what it means to say that Kṛṣṇa is absolute. Lacking senses, He could hardly be considered full in all opulences. In the Seventh Chapter, Kṛṣṇa has explained that He impregnates the living entities into material nature. This is done by His looking upon material nature. And so in this instance, Kṛṣṇa’s hearing the devotee’s words of love in offering foodstuffs is wholly identical with His eating and actually tasting. This point should be emphasized: because of His absolute position, His hearing is wholly identical with His eating and tasting. Only the devotee, who accepts Kṛṣṇa as He describes Himself, without interpretation, can understand that the Supreme Absolute Truth can eat food and enjoy it.

hard to live it and ignore ego or suffering as well... when you sit with innocent victims of tragedies.. you can't tell them that their suffering is illusion... you actually connect to their pain.. if maya does it.. you still feel it..even if you choose to ignore and slip back into the real self.. if not your personal pain.. it would be pain in others.. you connect to it..that's why you help and love all!

Dear seeker, it is indeed hard, which is why enlightenment is not instant. Part of spiritual inquiry is to look into the origin of the 'hardness' itself, on top of what causes suffering in the world. There are different types of suffering - those caused by spontaneous inflictions like tragedies, accidents, disasters and those that are psychological and gradual (like problems in relationship/career etc). Of course, all victims need to be shown appropriate empathy and need to be tended to for their survival and well-being. This is like the first aid. Over the longer term, they need to be equipped with tools for resilience - which is where the spiritual concepts come in. Other than physical pain, many times, suffering has to do with the mind and is imagined. That's why suffering is thought of as an illusion because for a mind that does not think, there is no suffering.

In my humble opinion karma is a very misunderstood concept - particularly here in the West 🇬🇧, and probably in the East as well . Good karma is that which brings you closer to God ( even though your material circumstances may be difficult) , bad karma is that which takes you away from God .( even though your material circumstances may be good ) .🙏🕉️

All of which could be fuel for the inner alchemy. The process of seeking involves converting/transforming one's subjective experience into a stepping stone for the evolution of one's consciousness. A guru teaches the seeker/aspirant how to do that. That's why seeking without a guide/mentor might not be optimal - unless of course, one arrives at this insight by oneself. The spiritually evolved knows when to express one's sexuality (as long as the need remains), how to wield lust without being a slave to it. They operate from a space of wisdom - which is about truly knowing when to break the ‘rules’. If a seeker thinks lust is ‘dangerous’, then they are not ready yet. Lust is not something to be feared/avoided but something to be exhausted/sublimated/transmuted/transformed. There is a lot of misunderstanding around this topic which continues to be socially foisted upon. Sexual needs are inherent to biological systems and it is not a crime obviously. Neither is it something to be ashamed of or be guilty about. Having said that, this is no license for reckless sexual behavior - taking forms such as unsafe sex, sexual abuse/exploitation/violence, pornography etc. When sexuality is not understood, it leads to all kinds of individual and social problems which is why traditionally it has been advised to be abstinent. If you - the reader of this response and a spiritual seeker - are aware of your sexual needs but have shame/fear/guilt around it, just inquire into it. This inquiry takes time and ongoing reflection of one's experiences. Give yourself the permission for healthy sexual expression. Further, develop a personal sexual dharmic code to follow when meeting your sexual needs. You could draw inspiration from religious sources that resonate with you. For example, 1) monogamy, 2) only with someone you trust, 3) only with other spiritually aligned person/people, 4) only if there is no likelihood of emotional baggage/drama/attachment/co-dependency post sex, 5) only at a certain frequency etc. With the development of one's spiritual skills, sexual experience like any other sensory experience could be a pathway to realize God. When that happens, lust would have been transcended and it would no more be an obstacle for spiritual progress. 🙏

You got it very little bro. Vasanas are beyond comprehension. They belong to "Anandamaya kosha". They are secondary roots of life. In a way they are life itself. Altered state of consciousness (euphoric, blissful traumatic) triggers vasanas. Vasanas strengthens and fortifies the "object of desire". Through repetition it manifests as a part of personality. They are irrational,effortless & spontaneous. They stem from ignorance, they are blissful to the individual. Neurotypicals, morals, society can labels it dysfunctional personality. Most of the creative arts, performing arts are the manifestation of good vasanas, psychopathic crimes are also born out bad vasanas. They are tremendous forces of life. They are destinied.
