Miss this era of the Card game, it was slower and more fair for the most part. We are now in the Scarlet and Violet era for the past year and its back to the slower more fairer approach of the game again. Happy to see it more slow again and it takes a few turns to set up again.

I hate this mindset. I always see these comments about how players are always using legendaries and always using the same pokemon but thats how all competetive games are played. In smash you consistently see a few top characters with a few outliers. In LoL you get the same thing. I think it's just casual players are more frequent in pokemon and don't really get this. These players use what's given to them. If Groudon Xerneas are the best in the format people will use them. If Gyarados is the best in the format people will use them. If you look these players are only using some legends. Things like Zekrom or Mewtwo aren't here cause people don't see them as particularly powerful, but then we see Salamence cause people see it's value. Umbreon came second in THIS tournament. I understand casual players tuning into a tournament and not getting to see the widest of variety of pokemon but to bash on players doing their best in a tournament to win is just really dumb. I wish people would just try to get what these players are doing and stop compaining about it like this.

For those wondering why James attacked Dusclops in G1: had he attacked Tyranitar, Dusclops would've set up Trick Room, maybe it'd live with a Protect + grassy terrain recovery, Dynamax ends, and gets KOd by Night Shade. I'd think Max Phantasm still KOs Dusclops through Protect, but I didn't see his match analysis on this one just yet.

Wolfe needs some adjustments in this team because of one of the most used in this tourney is kyogre yes i know cherrim counters kyogre and zapdos but during in some of his fight he countered kyogre probably the fight was wolfe vs santino but idk but in the 2nd round his cherrim strat gets countered therefore making this cherrim useless. and terrain control one of the biggest cons in this team

wolfe had a very interesting team and wow wolfe had really bad match ups with kyogre which is hard to remove which counters 3 of his pokemon while the tsareena here is another counter for groudon even if wolfe had 2 fire types against rillaboom and tsareena still scarf ogre is still a really bad match up because it is hard when wolfe gets weather countered by kyogres drizzle which really puts him more at a disadvantage

Wolfe was a genius for this one because of the anti zacian team but also any water/grass types he encounters looks like a big disadvantage but Zapdos with that flying and electric just counters the weaknesses as fast which is mind blowing

I feel like Markus just gave it to Wolfe first turn of round 1, he attacked and poisoned his own Pokémon. He looked like he didn't want to play against Wolfe at all, being best friends is understandable. Maybe it was just a miss-click but he reacted like it was planned lol.
