I don’t understand the play during game 1 where he pollen puffed into incineroar he should’ve astral barraged all day he would’ve gotten the KO and the special attack boost then with sash intact he could’ve let rillaboom have it with single target

The end of that first match... Unless I got my numbers wrong, two Astral Barrages would have barely knocked out the Rillaboom, with just 2 HP too much damage for it to take.

Just theory crafting, but in game 3 turn one,(Spoilers) Would Maxing Fini into Starfall have been the best choice? With Astral Barrage. Can't flinch, survives Glide, is faster then Rilla if it does something else, resets the terrain, and kills Goth. I can see how that could be a lot of resources in Turn one, but still.

Not when your team is based around Solgaleo. Also means that you risk burning your max that could deal well with Palkia right in front of Rillaboom.

@@amlothi9043 That's fair. I'm probably just focusing on stopping TR to much, and he won anyways, just seems to cover the bases in my head.

@@nahte123456 adi's talked about the difficulty of TR in the past - 3 Protects (on turns 1, 3, and 5 respectively) make sure that the Trick Room sweeper has only 2 turns of full damage. Any turns wasted are a win for the opponent. Not always necessary to kill the TR setter

Nihilego would’ve solved all of his problems… Too bad he didn’t have it on his team… Oh wait.. He did?
