Seems like it corrects the big toe, but the equal and opposite reaction on the second toe makes it angled when it used to be straight

Very strangely valgus appeared on 2nd and 3rd toes after surgery, could you explain the mechanism (ligaments, tendons etc) of that? Also on scheme 1st MT was drilled and no plate, on x-ray 1st MT also has plate. Why such a difference? Thank you!

Dr.Ichikawa, had you operated with this music on and so loud? I guess not and I would like to watch w/out it too, I want to watch for educational purposes, not raise my mood. The video has no subtitles so I cannot read what you say. Since it is the only Syndesmosis Bunionectomy video I could find, I'm going to watch it silent w/out knowing what you wanted to say...

Lapiplasty will leave toe joint permanently stiff and you will lose full range of motion forever. People please DO NOT GET THESE SURGERIES! YOU WILL FOREVER REGRET IT!

T’hanks for your video! What about lapiplasty? Do you lump that procedure equally when you refer to Lapidus? I’ve read how recovery time is so much faster. And reviews of this procedure have all been great.

I did lapiplasty. Have I known that they would fuse my 1st cuneiform and 1st metatarsal I would of never gotten it done. Now my toe joint is stiff and will never get full range of motion back
