I've tried so many of these gimmicky products and unfortunately the technology isn't there to make any of them worthwhile. The problem with thiese neck fans are 1) it only pushes wind around. If the air around your neck is very warm, this isn't going to be much cooler. 2) The coverage area is insufficient. What you want is your core temperature to cool down, not just the neck and head. A few years ago Sony made a product called the Reon pocket that you can tuck into a t-shirt specifically made for it. Again, too small to do anything meaningful but at least it pushes cool air out. Ember wave makes something that sits around your wrist that is actually very cool to the touch. The coolness from your wrist is suppose to trick your body into thinking its cool. Again it doesn't work. The best solution I've found so far is a cool vest that Formula 1 drivers wear. You stick it in the freezer and the gel inside melts over time. It's like having ice around your body except it doesn't melt instantly. There are still drawbacks. 1) Once it warms up, the vest is useless. You have to find a place to store it if your outside. 2) The vest itself isn't breathable, so moisture can build up underneath and that makes you naturally sweat more. Still, this is probably the best solution I've found for hot days and you need a portable cooling. Still wishing for something like a wearable indoor A/C to be created.

I think the neck plate makes a difference, you can definitely tell when it's on ac mode versus just wind mode on this one

Great video, just got my 35 a couple days ago it’s a really nice little lens. I was wondering if you’d make a video about the lidar sensor use, I thought it was just for autofocusing with the geared dji motors. Does it help for subject tracking and regular in lens autofocus as well? Thanks

Amazing video. Glad you showed how good the image quality is for video. I may consider this lens even though I was not initially impressed during the announcement. I also use the Smallrig Night Eagle cage on my Z8. It’s the only cage that, not only looked great but still gave me the load out capabilities I needed.

I'm glad I wasn't the only person to take advantage of that code. I have to shoutout to the Redditor that let me know that Apple Pay was working when Nikon had seemingly disabled regular credit card payments on their site. This code was actually active for quite a while before the Z6III released, but in total I picked up the Z6III, 180-600, 70-180, and 105MC using that code and saved a ton of money. I had almost picked up the Z8 over the Z6III because you could get one refurbished for about $2,600 before taxes which is an absurd price for such a great camera, I just couldn't justify spending even more than I already had.

Pretty cool product! I almost pulled the trigger on a Zhiyun CX100 for Prime day LOL Question about the minimum brightness for this product, is it similar to the CX100? I didn't end up getting CX100 cause even though there's a knob to control brightness, reviews have pointed out that the minimum setting starts off really bright, but I want that flexibility of dimmer lighting.

I agree, everyone is obsessed with bashing Nikon while we don't even care about Sony, Canon, Fuji or Leica or Lumix. We don't go around bashing anyone, we just enjoy our great gear which now has stellar AF on top of the great color science it already had, amazing lenses and great image and video quality. We are too happy to look over the fence to see if anybody's garden is better than ours lol. Is everything perfect? No, but nothing is and if they ever make anything "perfect" it will probably be A LOT of money. Enjoy shooting guys, make art, and forget these DUMB and useless camera wars and comparisons :) cheers!
