Linoleum block printing is familiar to me, but bringing a print into digital space is an eye-opener; what a great technique!

Excellent and exciting demo! I have tried Claybord with egg tempera painting, and now I'm wondering if your technique might work with egg tempera? Hmmm... I have a greater variety of pigments now than i have colored inks, so... Anyway, thanks for putting this viddy up!

When I saw you demonstrating this technique I immediately thought of Gerald Scarfe's work for Pink Floyds The Wall album artwork! Very inspirational work you do, thanks!

Fascinating! I very much enjoyed your process, and although I'm no professional, I can hardly wait to work on my itty-bitty clayboards to create something. I have a bunch of 1 x 1s, 2 x 2s, 5 x 5s, and some small rectangular pieces as well. They'll be perfect as practice boards using the Ampersand tool set. My intention is to create a "quilt" of small pieces. I'm not sure what I'll mount them all on, but I'll figure something out. 🙂 I have a few bottles of inks and also some ink pads, so that should be enough for a good start. Thanks for the great lesson. I love your piece - it's spectacular - and the background music was perfect. 😀. Happy Holidays. 🌲✌🏽

Thank you for this video! I discovered the technique of acrylic skins collage by myself during college and I've been learning ever since. This video was very informative - painting backwards and it really helped me because I want to create collages that are not abstract and this will help me a lot, so thank you for sharing and greetings from Croatia!

One of the most interesting ink drawing styles since George Grosz and Ralph Steadman. Thanks for sharing your technique!

Lovely work! Thanks for sharing. I came to KZbin once again looking for information about acrylic skin collage. I keep having issues adhering the skin to the surface of my work. I often get wrinkles as it dries, as if it were reacting to the wet medium adhesive. Do you ever have that problem? And if so how do you deal with it?
@skystone1012 жыл бұрын
Hello, I don't know if you will find this useful but I personally use wood glue to glue the skins to the wooden surface. I also found out that when wood glue dries it's firm and not soft and wrinkly like some acrylic paint skins get when they're dry. Sorry for my English, I am from Croatia.. I am an arts graduate (painting) and I used wood glue a lot in my paintings.
