Excellent and exciting demo! I have tried Claybord with egg tempera painting, and now I'm wondering if your technique might work with egg tempera? Hmmm... I have a greater variety of pigments now than i have colored inks, so... Anyway, thanks for putting this viddy up!

Fascinating! I very much enjoyed your process, and although I'm no professional, I can hardly wait to work on my itty-bitty clayboards to create something. I have a bunch of 1 x 1s, 2 x 2s, 5 x 5s, and some small rectangular pieces as well. They'll be perfect as practice boards using the Ampersand tool set. My intention is to create a "quilt" of small pieces. I'm not sure what I'll mount them all on, but I'll figure something out. 🙂 I have a few bottles of inks and also some ink pads, so that should be enough for a good start. Thanks for the great lesson.
