As the owner of David Curwen I take issue with the assertion that this was the first time in 5 years. That would make it sometime in 2018 that it last pulled a passenger train and, even in ill health, I have driven it a number of times in that period.

Perhaps “Southern Queen” would be a more appropriate name considering where it work now 🤔still a lovely looking engine. Would be mad to see a time lapse of it being built

@SatNavDan Thank you. 😁 I always do anyway. I find many railways are a far travel for me, so I tend to look it up first to avoid a wasted trip and disappointment.
