actually the highest you can get is by crafting 9mm purple and sell it. 180 pcs is like 200k profit while not doing a run. This is a good income in auction. Imagine your are doing a run while crafting for coins. SP - handling cost - deposit cost - crafting cost = NI You can also do is make gold armor and sell it / use it for normal runs. Note: Not all craftable net you income mostly is breakeven or a loss. TLDR as of now the best way to make income is sell purple ammo from crafting Gold armor(or if were you just use it xd) Bastion Horizontal Compensator

you should have access to the larger 2x2 safebox(aka the prison wallet) as everyone starting the game gets it for a time. I have never run out of basic gear tickets.

nice vid. did you know u can buy "nearly new" vests and helmets from the auction house for a massive discount. its how i go in with purple armor at the price of blue. yes it has a little less durability but ur still better protected against higher tier ammo. i have actually never used the loadout screen. just buy my stuff from the auction house and equip it in the stash. ur right about control on weapons. basically any assault rifle i go full on control. snipers or dmr u want stability. i use that russian 2x on all my basic builds too :P as for ammo. purple is the sweetspot. if ur playing harder maps blue wont cut it if people bring orange armor. you will have to fully destroy the armor before it does damage to the player. purple will semi pen and do damage to the player. what me and my friends tend to do is bring a stack of purple with us in our safebox and if we get into a firefight load it from the safebox. that way if you die u dont loose the ammo. also going in with a basic gear set with a stack of blue ammo and extra sugical kit in your safebox is also a sneaky tactic.

New players just need to layoff the light, they never run anything that helps a team all explosives no sonar just run around dying ,all i ask is cloaking and sonar please at least

We need more extration points in Space city or brakkesh, i can kill squads solo if i got enough space to flank but man its like impossible to leave, most of the time i need to leave my backpack to make it out

You can get that backpack (and a lot of blue gear) for barters (or by using the exchange tab in the preparation screen). It’ll save you a few thousand bucks here and there, but it adds up over time!

The firing range is miss leading as all get out. I noticed a substantial increase in survivability. Went on an absolute terror run for 3 hours with the same gold kit.

There have been gunfights where I shot 11 shots and died with 3, because I had blue gear and blue ammo, so this reasoning does not apply in real gameplay, no one will ever kill in 0.200ms.

the reality is "time to kill" at 0 distance on a non-moving target is not accurate measure. Better to consider number of bullets needed for the kill. (in my opinion)

Vector point blank for testing is a extreme example. The gun is not balanced. I think the ttk might only be a little bit to short but its fine. Late wipe tarkov is exactly the same only that good ammoi out of a 308. Weapon 2 shots the thorax. I started running purple and gold armor and i have way more success than with blue. I got the point andbthey might need some adjustments but i think they made a good starting point.

I gotta disagree here. According to your tests, gold keeps you alive 3x longer than blue armor. You're doing a test where you're point blanking a guy with 100% accuracy. In practice, ppl's accuracy is 30% or lower. So triple all of those ttks you're talking about. And also keep in mind that a lot of times, if you're moving between cover, an enemy will only get a second or two to draw a bead on you and shoot. Which might only translare to a fraction of a second of effective fire hitting you. If he only hits you with 0.3 seconds of accurate fire before you're back behind cover, then you are dead if your armor is blue, but you live if your armor is purple or gold. This can make the difference between life and death quite often. There are also many situations where you and the other guy see and start shooting at each other at roughly the same time (i.e. You're both advancing around a corner toward eachother after being mutually alerted to each other's presence. In that case the better armored guy has the advantage. And if his aim is not significantly better, the lower armored guy will lose.

I LOVE THE TTK leave it alone, i was watching a streamer using red armor and it saved him twice in 1 raid.

you use the word niche a lot. the testing environment is completely niche. you're using the fastest RPM weapon at point blank. yes, TTK is fast, but unless you're caught offguard or make a mistake, this is not going to be a use case in the game. stretch these results out to 25m and 50m for a larger data set, then maybe we have useful data and not just a simple face value test.

Bit of mis information here. Not every fight is going a 0 range vector dump. Taking the fastest ttk gun in the game and comparing at point blank is just not accurate. 50 percent of fights u get into u shoot each other at the same time. I think purple ammo is more important than the armor but it still is the diference in u getting 3 shot vs 6 shot and having a split second to react or duck in cover

and keep in mind that was with blue ammo. I imagine there would be no difference between none of those armors with purple/gold ammo.

At 20m+ ranges you can see the difference of armor and ammunition, when you can’t hit every single bullet.

I like the video explaining the difference between ammo and armor, however using a vector to explain it is in my opinion poor taste. Simply because most engagements will be mid range and some closer ranged. Not everyone is going to run a 1200rpm gun and hit all their shots. The same is said for an m870 shotgun if you just blast someone in the chest around the corner. 20x8dmg is enough to down anyone in an instant regardless of ammo

You should get better at the game before saying things like this and playing as a team is very different. The ttk is low but with good movement you survive more than 1 sec
