@@richardbarnes2609 hi sorry I thought I responded. Yes we will get clear AHC fluid out of bleed valve. I drained until I got the clear fluid out.

Hi, I assume the weight of the vehicle will work towards pressure. I didn’t see any pressure mentioned in the manual and tips from various forums I read before doing this. When we open the bleed valve, vehicle will drop in height to the lowest. I did a yearly bleed recently and didn’t have to wait till the vehicle dropped completely. The AHC fluid was clear half way down

What could be the cause of a “bouncy” ride on an AHC system? Already changed all 4 shocks.

Mine was better after bleeding AHC system. Shocks, globes, worn AHC sensors air in AHC system can all be the reason. Check on one of the landcruiser club forums like IHMUD as there is a lot of info there

Hi, I drained fully as I repeated this process until I used up all (4 or 5) litres of new AHC fluid. I am not sure if Toyota uses this method to drain and fill new fluid but my logic was if I repeat bleed fill and bleed until I see clear new fluid or until I used up all of the AHC fluid in the can I have, I would have drained out old fluid and replaced new one.

I used some tube lying in the garage. I cut it just long enough for it to reach the fill bottles from the bleeder

Hi, I drained the oil from all 4 side , and only 1.5 liters came out , What is this procedure and does it bleed more than oil , and What is the function of this piece?

It should be around 1.5 litres if you are just filling and draining 4 sides once. I did repeat this process until I used up all 5 litres purchased. this to remove air bubbles from the system but then repeated the process until I used up all I got. Exact volumes for your spec should be in the service book. You can see more clearly on my other video on how the air bubbles appear while draining. I repeated the process until only clear fluid came out.

4.5 twin turbo V8 diesel 1VD FTV. 4.7 is the 2UZ FE V8 petrol engine and it stopped coming in landcruisers after 2007

It's common. If the weather was colder, then the revs would be higher for a while until the engine warms up then they would drop down to normal idle. On the right hand side of the dash behind the steering wheel, you have a button, when depressed, which will keep the idle revs high until the engine has fully warmed up.

It was better than before. I did it as maintenance and to learn about the car. I left car in Normal height, did the bleeding until it came down to lowest position.

To bleed air from the AHC system so the ride quality will be restored. I also used this method to flush out old fluid and replace new one
