AHC bleeding Landcruiser 200

Did you ever get it to run clear or did it always come out airrated and looking like a strawberry guiness that had just been poured

@@richardbarnes2609 hi sorry I thought I responded. Yes we will get clear AHC fluid out of bleed valve. I drained until I got the clear fluid out.

What could be the cause of a “bouncy” ride on an AHC system? Already changed all 4 shocks.

Mine was better after bleeding AHC system. Shocks, globes, worn AHC sensors air in AHC system can all be the reason. Check on one of the landcruiser club forums like IHMUD as there is a lot of info there

Hi, with this method can it be fully draining away or bleeding AHC ? I plan to change the oil

Hi, I drained fully as I repeated this process until I used up all (4 or 5) litres of new AHC fluid. I am not sure if Toyota uses this method to drain and fill new fluid but my logic was if I repeat bleed fill and bleed until I see clear new fluid or until I used up all of the AHC fluid in the can I have, I would have drained out old fluid and replaced new one.

How big is the hose

I used some tube lying in the garage. I cut it just long enough for it to reach the fill bottles from the bleeder

To bleed air from the AHC system so the ride quality will be restored. I also used this method to flush out old fluid and replace new one

@@lijiraj I see. What kind of fluid you using ? Care to share. I'm new to this AHC maintenance. I thought it was on air, fluid free system

It was better than before. I did it as maintenance and to learn about the car. I left car in Normal height, did the bleeding until it came down to lowest position.
