Bercouli‘s theme, just as Alice‘s (She was sitting under the Osmamthus Tree) resembles his life - In Bercouli‘s case, more so his life as an Integrity Knight. His theme is divided into two parts. 0:00 - 0:13 | The intro sequence - It starts off strong, voluminous, overpowering.. very much like Gabriel described the taste of Bercouli‘s soul while they battled, proving Bercouli’s undeniable and natural strength. 0:13 - 01:33 | This part, in my mind, resembles his life as Integrity Knight Bercouli Synthesis One - A kind of dull life, his only purpose is that of an unbreakable warrior, a puppet, summoned by the pontifex from the heaven realm. He is being controlled, suppressed.. There is more to life, more to this experience of existing in this world.. But what? 1:33 - 3:02 | He knows it, now, finally, he knows what he needs to do. He needs to protect Alice, no, save her from this demonic god, who has kidnapped the young Integrity Knight. But Alice is not just an Integrity Knight, nor is she just the „Priestess Of Light“ - No, she is his daughter. And he will do anything to protect her, even if that means giving his life so her‘s can continue. It seems as though this was the first time he truly fought with all his might, with all his heart behind his blade, with all his willpower to carry on. Even after all the injuries, all the pain, all the suffering.. After all that, he found the strength to defeat his most challenging and powerful foe, the dark god Vecta in person. It shouldn’t be possible, it was not meant to be that Vecta‘s health points could reach zero, and yet, Bercouli did it. In german, the word „Incarnation“ is translated to „Herzenswille“, which can be translated to „Will of the Heart“. It‘s funny, because in this small analysis, the german translation provides a way deeper meaning to the battle, and why exactly Bercouli was able to defeat Vecta. He defeated him not because he was stronger physically, or more skilled. He was able to kill Vecta, because he fought out of love, not hatred. He fought because the will of his heart was to protect his daughter. And that was stronger than Vecta‘s soulless void.

When Eugeo died the anime was bad once again.
