Thank you so much. I never even touched a sewing machine. However, I got into camping and found myself longing for one. I have watched numerous videos, and this is the one I have been searching for. The perfect step by step how to.

Mistake #1 is going to your local fabric store in a small or medium sized town and buying pretty QUILTING fabric to sew a garment with. It is almost impossible to buy garment fabric locally if you don’t live in a large city. Quilting fabric might do for a little girl’s sundress, but for an adult, it is going to look frumpy and be fraying at the seams after the first wash. (Oh, and #2 is not pre-washing your fabric)

Biggest mistake i made was not making sure my directional fabric was facing the correct direction before cutting... my daughter almoste ended up with a bucket hat that had an upside down beach scene on it.😊
