I drive a concrete mixer Kenworth T800 with a C15 twin turbo. That engine just does exactly what you want it to, even with 10.5 yards loaded up. Turbos are loud as hell and sound great

I was mistaken. I thought it was a C13, until I lifted the hood on this truck and saw a C15.

@@carsandmoods3593 It's ok. It just said on the title of the video a C15. I was confused. I drove an 07 379 with a C15 twin turbos 18 speed. It had plenty of torque! Pulled a tanker. Got 6 to 6.3 mpg

Either the guy is down on power or scared to use his truck because its about to break. If you are not able to keep up with traffic your truck is limping and needs repairs.

Beautiful truck mate 👌 I have a 379 with a 3408 twin turbo and no one passes me on hills 😀 50ton standard here in Norway no matter if volvos 750hp or SCANIA 770hp they are like a turtles when we driving together 😀 I don't know exactly how much hp have my CAT 3408 but the true no one passes me 🤪 it's a beautiful V8 song after 3millions kms without rebuilding the engine and running like a new 👌👍 no comments CAT forever 👏👏👏👌👍 fucking all electronics technologies 👎👎👎 cheers from Norway

A Peterbilt 379 in Norway??? Wow! I used to drive an FH13 in the UK with a Schmitz Cargobull Trailer. Most of the time I used to a Drive a Renault Premium 460 with Volvo D13 and iShift too. But just before I left the UK, DAF had a very good lease deal and many DAF XF 6x2 tractor units were cheap to buy and cheap to run. They were comfortable and cheap, but they were not reliable as a Volvo or Renault or Scania.

@@jerrywilliamson7621 CAT made many different V8 engines!! the 3408 it's a V8 18lts! And I made some modifications probably around 900hp and 4100torque!!
