Watching this again. We can help the empath but not the narc. I don't. See why you can't have a million followers. Lisa romano Michelle nevers doctor ramani. I want not only healing but also protection from narc. These narcs eat us empathm for lunch. The martix is real. Any type. Of kindness or being nice brings punishment from these people. Everyone is in desperation mode. Hopeless helpless insecure. HENRY DAVID THOREAU SAID IT IN 1850."" PEOPLE LIVE LIFES OF QUIET DESPERATION. THERE TO. DESTROY US. THEY ATTACK PEOPLE WITH EMPATHY. THERE NOT GOING TO ATTACK ANOTHER NARC .THAT WOULD BE DANGEROUS TO THEM. THEY ATTACK THE MEEK AND HUMBLE. Your either for me or against me.. what I'm trying to say is there stuck in fight mode. Survival mode is fight mode..flee or freeze mode is the empaths mode..we are stuck in a world full of monsters or demons if you like. You are better than pete walker. More solution oriented. ..Everyone else is problem oriented.. wilhelm reich in 1925 called it the emotional plague. A hatres of healthy people 🎉🎉

Wow, this is a very very special video and I am so grateful you have provided this content. Since it's a new year, I asked myself what goals I had and one of them is building connection and letting people see me. The year prior, I challenged myself to feel safe in my body. It is incredible how you spoke to my own healing journey in such an articulate way and it makes me so encouraged to know I'm doing the thing and I'm on the right path!!

Rachelle the quickes way is to run hard for a hour. Its better than drugs. Your disstress completely vanishes. You live to fight another day.
@rachellemccloudlcsw
@rachellemccloudlcsw 2 күн бұрын
That is because running is a bilateral activity that puts the brain into a processing state. So running for an hour does work to process emotions. However it is very difficult to run enough to process disorders like complex ptsd, ocd and GAD, MDD. Finding an intervention that helps the brain to process is central to my process and I’ve found 3 interventions that take a lot less time (30 seconds to 2 minutes) to use and to apply when one wants to resolve specific symptoms such flashbacks, anger, rage, panic attacks, obsessions, worries and more. And hour is a long time to take to process one emotional state. That’s a whole therapy session. I’d rather spend that time and quickly work through 3 or 4 issues and work down to the root issue. However, seriously, running is great and if someone is already using this strategy we will use that as an aspect of their homework and how they process the specific issue they are working on between sessions.

Rachelle love your program..when I got my buttons pushed instead of exploding which would of got me fired ..I would run up and down the levee and a hour later would feel wonderful. So it's a physical thing. Running released the emotions. I already did enough work. When does good life start?
@rachellemccloudlcsw
@rachellemccloudlcsw 2 күн бұрын
@@JT-wc7me - I appreciate that. It really is up to your brain to decide that enough work has been done. But when I find most often when people say this is a lot of work has been done and it just all needs to be brought together. Many therapists don’t know how to do this, because we are not taught how to do this in school or as we learn interventions. My program is the result of me learning how to do this and to support the brain to make our lives work and become more and more satisfying. My program isn’t about doing work for works sake or just resolving symptoms. There’s so much more to life than not having symptoms and your brain needs to be good at that too. I am not sure what the answer is for your question, but there is an answer. All of my healing opportunities are designed to help people find out the answer to just this question.

Why is it not giving answers on what to do?
@rachellemccloudlcsw
@rachellemccloudlcsw 2 күн бұрын
@@JT-wc7me I think I do answer that in this video. But the answer is pretty simple and not super flashy so it may have been too subtle how I stated it. The answer to this is shift the brain out of survival mode. There are interventions that help brains do this intentionally instead of having to wait for the proverbial stars to align. And then we can shift our brain out of survival mode as often as it needs support for a while. I share my favorite 3 interventions for this in my free program interventions for inner world transformation. You can find the link to that above in the description part of the video. Thanks for asking.

You may be right. However, there is a way to do it. Maybe you will invent the process. And you are welcome to use my process and then customize it for this issue. That’s how I developed my process. I was learning from tappers about resolving things like cravings and phobias and limiting beliefs. But I needed strategies to resolve obsessive compulsive disorder and complex ptsd so I learned, practiced and customized and they way forward appeared. Now, I walk others through this process.

What do you do when you've been through all the therapy, you've forgiven, changed your mindset, stopped the ruminating, moved on to a better place, etc...but your body didn't get the memo? Cortisol flat lined, fatigue, anxiety, etc... the body keeps the score is no joke! The game is over, but I can't turn the scoreboard off. It was on for so many decades it doesn't know how to shut off. If this where vagus nerve work comes in to play?
@rachellemccloudlcsw
@rachellemccloudlcsw 5 күн бұрын
Really great question and the exact reason I shared this video. Healing is really about the body getting the memo. and yes. This is exactly where survival system/vagus nerve work comes into play. Supporting the mind-body system's natural process for receiving "the memo" is what we want to do. All of that memo getting occurs in a regulated state. The deeper the regulated state while one is focused on the distressing memory, emotion or problem the more processing or memo getting occurs.

This is true. I do find that the standard way of using EFT can be helpful at times. It can also often be an obstacle for people with complex PTSD, leave them dependent on others for scripts and just plain limiting. The way I teach it in my free program, allows people with complex PTSD to accomplish a lot more, be more independent and get more in touch with their mind-body system. However after saying all of that, you really can learn EFT on KZbin with a simple search.
