Excellent video,I am currently looking for such a van,as such,given the poor quality of build outs my main concern is the reliability of the Mercedes.Issues such as DEF,maintenance and access to service centers and any day to day issues.Do you have issues engaging 4WD? The Ford transit certainly checks all the boxes for me,thanks much.

Thank you! I’ve only had a rear axle wear out prematurely that was covered under warranty. There are plenty of shops that service Mercedes Sprinter Vans so getting work done has never been an issue. But n addition, there are significantly more after market options available for Sprinter vans than there are for the Transits you are also able to put much larger tires on them.

Thank you! Yes I’d say it’s pretty good mechanically. We had a rear axle wear out prematurely but it was a simple fix and covered under warranty.

Lower the bed all the way down and simply start rubbing the was on each four straps. Start from the bottom then work your way up about 3’. You just need to apply a small amount then plan on reapplying every six to twelve months.

Okay guys here's my 2-month update and I just got to say I love these freaking boots for sure I will be buying another pair so comfortable, like walking on clouds, break in period is pretty low for me it was only a week and even when they were new as I was breaking them in they were still comfortable but now it's like they are hugging my feet in a good way thanks for this review my brother. I work in construction and I do put them through rigid test everyday.

I have a Grech Van with full plastics on the rear. The rear shade will stick but doesn’t line up well at all. If one side is on magnets the other isn’t. It’s not a huge deal as it has an electric shade too, but it definitely always has a gap on one side and the adhesive magnets have almost all fallen off during the summer.

They both are fantastic but the Van Essential covers have better insulation which is why now use them. Another reason I went with Van Essential is they have covers that also fit the rear windows.

Is the Jayco or Entegra have a fully upgraded Sprinter chasis. I see you have LED lights. Do the new ones have the digital review Mercedes rearview mirror?

Yes they have quite a few upgrades. Adaptive cruise control, power heated seats and 360 degree cameras to name a few. They don’t come with a digital rear view mirror but it’s a fairly simple upgrade.

Yes. The Renogy battery system is prone to failure - I would not recommend. Jayco has switched to Lithionics on their newer models. I was seriously considering a Winnebago Revel but discovered the Jayco Terrain. I chose the Terrain because it had a much bigger battery, onboard air compressor, Koni shocks, light bar, power/heated seats and was $1,000 less at the time. I think the longest I’ve been boondocking was 21 days. Thank you for the compliment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. If you’re in the market for a van, I’d take a close look at the 2025 Tiffin GH1.

I have a 2017 Roadtrek 190 Popular with a carefree awning. It won't hold the adjustment when I try to close it. I tighten the lower 4mm hex screw under the rear cover to close it but then I crank the awning out several times and it'll stop short of closing again so I have to tighten the screw again. Kind of a pain.

Interesting, I often only see a -1.5 to -3 amps due to my fridge. I think my solar panels are working as I see the display working in the top shelf. I'm almost 3 months with my Jayco van and yep, always discovering new features. An example, had no idea there is a 12 volt port at the bottom right of the driver's seat at the base of the seat.

Great video. I ordered the front cab bundle and the max air fan cover. Too bad their rear door window covers don't fit the Jayco Terrain due to the full plastic covering that we have. So it looks like I'll have to go to the Overland Guy for the sliding door window and the driver side rear passenger window and bump out window.

Yes, impossible to compress by hand. Just install them fully extended. Have a buddy hold up the hood or use a broom handle or something similar.

Yeah I think they thought everyone would just store their phones in the cubby. That doesn’t work because it gets too hot. This is the perfect solution - more room and more ventilation.
