I read the Third Sequence before these and holy hell the Cain and Abel brothers eternally at war in each successive Courtney generation really comes to bear in this book.

The subplot w Hendrick and Moses in this section is so well done. I love Centaine, but I dont miss her at all here.

Part 1 was typical Smith well written in every way with action throughout keeping the listener on edge rooting for more and finding it in spades. Thanks again for this epic novel by one of the best historical novelists of this or any time period. Much appreciated Sir.
