Part 1 was typical Smith well written in every way with action throughout keeping the listener on edge rooting for more and finding it in spades. Thanks again for this epic novel by one of the best historical novelists of this or any time period. Much appreciated Sir.

Agreed but it was such a different time then and that's what the story reflects. As mentioned in part 2 many hunters went on to become conservationists.
