It’s not really cheap. We are not getting the latest platform and tech. China EV are dumping older generation on us Asia but giving Europe their best. This Atto3 is only good for school run, low speed and dry weather. Try driving this to Kuala Lumpur, irrespective of dry or wet weather its rear gonna swing if you are not careful accelerating. Brakes are not good at highway speed, especially during hyroplaning. Scare the hell out of you. Lane centring BYD calls it, but it is terrible at corners. In terms of driving dynamics, China cars are still way behind.

I truly like the color blue of the BYD M6, when it arrives in Australia I would definitely be adding it to my business fleet, I already own the BYD Seal (Premium) in Artic Blue & the BYD Atto3 (Extended Premium) in Surf Blue...both vehicles I am extremely proud to own....440km WLTP Range, that's totally acceptable for this vehicle, my Atto3 does 480Km on the extended 62 Kw Battery, and the Seal does with it's 82Kw Battery does 650Km WLTP I know have tried and tested it....put it through the paces, truly love the brand BYD - All I can say is they trully are dominating the market. Cannot wait til it arrives in Australia.

If you just drive this car in Singapore, the cost vs benefit is just not worth it. Average driving time per location is around 20 to 40 minutes. Malaysia sells this same basic and upsize model from MYR250,000 to MYR300,000 and their average driving time is around 40 mins to even 90 mins. I dare say their mileage covered is about 1.5 to 2.5 times higher from us. But if it is for private higher focusing on maybe can consider, like GrabCar Premium or Ryde Luxe.
