It never occurred to me that Revolver could be considered an early Beatles record, but they'd only been releasing records for three years when they made it. 🤯

Paul is right. A lot of the Beatles music is out of tune. The singing the instruments were all a little wonky at times. That’s part of the charm.

In the early 70s this song was our song with one of my 1st real real GFs.. the one you always remember. My god she was beautiful and all the boys wanted her. She was also 1 yr older. Blonde and so much fun.. sigh.. xoxo..

Robber Soul and Revolver can be A and B or twin albums a master piece ,for me from that point they were not only a pop group ,when you listen to Rain ,She said she said ,The Word , ....or in Abbey Road album " Helter Skelter " there is a rock point of references .. Then Led Zeppelin took over after with "Good Times,Bad times " But the way to that was already opened by the The Beatles. The Beatles revolutionized and explored a profuse world of music

I'm from Cuba and, I do recall being 11 years old Mom and Dad were getting divorced and my dad stopped by and picked ,we were talking at his new place about if he was going to come back home ,he distracted me or got me out of that topic,he began talking what kind of music I did want to listen he came out with something that happened to him ,and I remember him telling that he was kicked out of University because he liked and listened to The Beatles,The Stones, and some other groups andthings ,he got The Robber Soul and Revolver albums hid in an old leather suite case ,; he took them out of a closet and he played "If I needed someone " and "Cry for no one" ; I didn't know the words but something got me deep inside and that something changed my taste of music forever and how you can judge how well a piece of music is made ..... That music will play and ensure for centuries and for me forever

It’s a shame Goodall made some really head-scratch-worthy errors in that documentary, like bizarrely claiming that the melody in the verses of “She’s Leaving Home” is in the Aeolian mode. It (a) isn’t, and (b) would be significantly more commonplace and less innovative and effective if it was.
