Can't carry a gun because law enforcement life is more important than everyone else. Nobody tells me when or where I can protect my life. Ridiculous!

If I had a choice between Hunting in Iowa or Saskatchewan, I would diffently choose IOWA. Sitting over a bait in a blind seems really boring to me personally. He's probably right when he says the woods are really thick, and it's hard to shoot deer through thick cover. Maybe the deer density is really low per square mile, that be could be a factor as well. I would rather have the choice of shooting a deer in a tree saddle or hunting on the ground. The lack of strategy for that of style hunting makes it a very boring hunt for me . In Wisconsin, we can hunt different types of terrain habitats, marshes, swamps , hills, big woods, and farm country. I realize killing a 200" buck is a very difficult task for anyone, but I would rather shoot a 6 point buck and enjoy myself. I am sure he worked very hard choosing the right spot to bait the deer. I would enjoy shooting a trophy buck too, but type of situation, it would become very boring to me . If that was my only option for bowhunting deer, I quit and just do fly fishing steelhead. He probably really enjoys sitting on the bait pile that's probably his only choice for whitetail hunting .One man's trash is another's pleasure 😊

You’re lucky she cared about her cubs. You wouldn’t have survived if she didn’t. But yet here you are smiling like a big bad man for gain, and set up a future to continue the slaughter of other “sows” and babies. If that sow bear had your weapons, resources, and forethought of motive, she’d of killed you and provided food for another 12 months. You really need to like about that. There is nothing heroic about you in my eyes and many others.

Jason, Dude you're on another level Man. I'm 39years old and have put my tracks on hunting free range WT in Texas and Old Mexico since I was as young as your two boys. Your Canada deer camp is my Mexico, but unfortunately, it's got too crazy across my border with crime as it's not safe no more. Nevertheless, your videos are so peaceful but not lacking action. The piece in your voice and attention to detail and appreciation to the animal on every level in unmatched and is what has me addicted to your videos. You capture little things on video that are unexplainable, Like the bobcat in OK, I thought man all the things I've seen and live to talk about lol like creatures in their natural environment that do natural things. Watching your videos have given me the fever for the north country. If I was to pick 1 Bucket list trip, The MULE DEER is it. I long live to chase after one eventually.

I couldn't believe you passed on that buck the first time. He is magnificent! Looks like he broke that left hook sometime between when you first saw him and when you shot him. Too bad about that. Congratulations on a beautiful pronghorn!

I kicked myself the whole time after passing him that first time. He did end up ding a lot of fighting between the encounters I had with him and did break that one horn off. Appreciate the comment!

A good story told with sensitivity. Nice to find this channel; I've bailed on a number of rifle channels where guys are taking 600, 700, 800 yard shots. This is real hunting done right.

Ditto Brian for me the stalking , the time served, all those practice shots ( arrow ) the closing in to 40 yards or closer is the true essents of hunting man v beast v terrain v weather and that possibility it could all be lost .... Ok riffles are possibly cleaner in their execution? But perched on a hill overlooking your quarry at those distances takes away the true feeling of accomplishment with a bow .
