My z flip 6 inner screen stopped working within a month. I don't know what happened. It's not the quality I expected from $1000 phone. I usually didn't fold the phone much , it didn't fall , it didn't get into moisture but suddenly inner screen blacked out while cover screen works only . Nothing works to get it back gonna get it repaired now soon

So, it's not the student's fault for taking on more debt than a degree is worth, and it's not the college's fault for selling a degree that has little value but, somehow, it's the taxpayers responsibility - most of whom did not go to college - to make both the student and the college whole. I support student loan relief as follows: 1/3 paid by students, 1/3 paid by the colleges, and 1/3 paid by the taxpayers- and stop the student loan program which programs like this show to be clearly predatory.

The range isn't that bad when comparing to an gas M3 or an M4. Those get around 270-300 miles in a tank. So for being in the same "performance" category, its not bad at all.

As I would NEVER drive a Tesla, I researched and found that the KIA Niro was a perfect-sized alternative to the over-hyped Tesla cars. I test drove a 2024 Niro PHEV and felt very comfortable inside. I then test drove a Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid -- well, not really a test drive as Toyota won't let you test drive them because all of them are pre-sold before being built -- and I returned to Hyundai (leased 3 before) for the 2024 Kona (ugly exterior, compared to my 2022 Kona). I ended up with a 2023 KIA Niro EV, which is exactly the same as the 2024 Niro PHEV and EV models. I saved a bundle by leasing a 2023 instead and the EV is a joy to drive, charging is easy after I had the electrician install my Level 2 charger, and the size is perfect to zip around with my suburban lifestyle.

The discontinuation of the V6 turns me away.

Is this better than a Corolla Cross Hybrid? That is my choice

Touchscreens are unsafe and should be a dealbreaker for CR recommendations. If basic controls like changing the temperature, fan, volume, radio station/track require interacting with a touchscreen then CR shouldn't recommend the car and should mark it down in the ratings severely. You should NOT use a touchscreen unless a car is parked whether it's in a phone or built into the dash of the car.

As others have noted, it didn't seem the hosts really did their homework on all the questions. The question of cradle to grave environmental impact was raised and the answer from the panel was noncommittal. A quick AI search would reveal that the environmental "payback" including manufacturing/mining costs is about 1.4 to 1.8 years of typical driving.

Disappointed that the tone is so anti-EV. It likely turned off some who were unsure of taking that step of purchasing one. I'm happy owning an EV, hybrid and regular ICE vehicle but for 90 percent of my travel the EV suites me and that's what I drive. Purchase what meets your needs and like before making any expensive purchase do your research. Ask the people who actually own an EV their experience. You have to be realistic of your requirements for travel. I've become very accustomed of planning my travel since owning one and my only slight concern is the charge loss with extremely cold temperature, I just charge more often but it's still useable for my day to day. CR, just give us the facts and leave your bias out of people's psyche.
