Thank you for this lovely video. I was born in Streatham in 1954 and lived there for 20 years. Many happy memories of times spent at the Common and the Rookery and neighbouring Norwood Grove where we would go sledging in winters when we had proper snow.

I am so glad that things are looking up for Streatham. I started life in Briar Avenue and the Chase just to the South in the early '50s. I saw a pantomime at the theatre and often hopped about over the streams in the Rookery gardens. The war bought a lot of sadness to the area. So many smart (high tech) boys, especially from the Modern School, joined the RAF Bomber Command and did not return.

i lived Just up the road from Streatham at Crown Point back in the 70's and 80's .... My Paper round took me into streatham

Born in 1970,lived on gleneldon rd,used to able to cut down the side of the bridge cut through wellfield and sunnyhill by way of all the derilict house and bomb sites.when the film showed the war memorial if he had panned to the left we would have seen those large advert hoardings at the bottom of streatham common where whole families perished with no next of kin,been lying empty for 78 yrs waiting to be claimed,i hope they never build on it.steatham common st was hit by a zepplin raid.

Sarà stata molto fragile perché non è la prima ragazza che viene violentata purtroppo, e si può uscirne fuori.
