@@jeffrandolf5673 it is best practice to keep the strap connected till the boat is in the water, and we even mention in the video that some will do that. But many understand their boat and their favorite ramp and that their boat is not going to slide until we'll submerged. For these boaters it is common to back down with the chain and strap disconnected.

Yes, we're actually installing a Seakeeper Ride on a 2024 255XD this week.

@@Mondii98 it can make it, but it's a rough ride unless you have a Seakeeper Ride installed. You have to pick your weather and make sure that your schedule is flexible just in case your return trip has to be delayed due to unfavorable seas.

@Mondii98 both perform similarly in the chop. I'd recommend the Seakeeper on it as well, but honestly if you're looking at doing the Seakeeper I'd opt for the 252SD

@@molassescricket6663 you're correct, it is best to leave the chain connected. We know our boat and that it won't slide off when backing down, but better safe than sorry! It is completely safe to tet fire your engines prior to splashing the boat. There's zero chance you harm anything if you run for a few seconds as demonstrated. It's just bad form to wait till you're in the water and then try to start the engines and they won't start. It's a big inconvenience to others who will be waiting on their turn to splash their boats.

@@jeffschweikert3469 mainly how to flush and spray everything with spray protectant prior to first use. We have a video on that too. Also good idea to fog engines once per quarter if you're boating in salt water exclusively.

@@howardkramer2099 this tech is not available on single engine models. But you can add Thrust Vectors and Lateral Thrusters and actually get better control around the dock.

@@terrainrider it's convenient and out of the way, we also have the caddy can which holds 3 gallons.

@@billbrigman4420 yes it's best to adhere in temps above 60 degrees, but I can't imagine you'll have trouble if you install at temps above 50. Just let the boat sit out in the direct sunlight so the surface of the area to be adhered to is above 60 and you'll be golden.

@@kchedville yeah we've seen some gates require adjustment for them to work well.

@@MAGApepe there's a tab on the leading edge (nearest to the bow). That gets aligned with the notch in the jet pump clean out receiver.
