Hey guys, I’ve heard people say I need to remove my oil pan and do an entire new pan seal while doing this because the rear main seal silicone overlaps with the original bead from oil pan Do you guys think that’s overkill?

The catch cans are $200 to $300 ea. But u really only need the one dirty side catch can. The Dual port one.

thank you for this excellent video, I have owned a mustang ecoboost since 2017 and I am very happy to learn about this engine. I have a question for you: I would like to renew the coolant and I would like to know if there is a drain on the engine block (in addition to that of the radiator) because if I am not mistaken when you drain only from the bottom of the radiator you do not completely remove the liquid. If you had a diagram a photo or a video on this At this point I will be very interested and will be grateful to you. Thank you so much.

Thank you for this great video. I just learned a lot..... I just bought my first ecoboost 2017 Mustang... and u love it . This is the nicest Mustang i have ever owned.. My last Mustang, which was t boon 4 weeks ago was a 2013 fast back V6 cyclone engine ... I just found your video ... and now I understand how a ecoboost engine is built.... I am looking forward to all your other videos. I am a sponge just want to learn more and all about my engine . And how too keep it running for a long time ... I am open for advice. Cam shaft bolts r u sure torque is 142lb ?

cam cap bolts are 142 in lbs, phaser bolts are 30 ft lbs then 60 degrees

Have you considered replacing the bottom plugs with a "drain kit" all cans drains route to some on/off valves that you can drain when you park using a manual ball-valve?
