@@rmoria yeah so it worked but only on my really old cartridges from 2016 / 2017 ! And I can’t seem to be able to change the temperature but it was fine. Unfortunately the print quality was really bad and since there is no way to adjust settings in the slicer I bought a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon and now I just use that (plus I can print with 4 colors on the same object) 😂😉

do you have more than one EEPROM chip? i was having similar issues with some of the Chips but others worked just fine so i marked which ones would work that way i know for future reference. other than that i haven't really looked for a fix since i was able to get the ther chips working. so yea my suggestion is restart the video and use a different chip and follow it very closely step by step, make sure the printer is able to reach the temp levels you are trying to set. just make sure to follow the steps to a t

Appreciate your feedback. Indeed, 25Hz frame rate vs 6/9 Hz is much better, but doesn't change anything regarding image quality. And 320x240px is more than 256x192, if I'm not mistaken. It's actually 56.25% more pixels. Larger thermal imaging sensors are pricey, which is why the lower-cost options, e.g., smart phone modules, usually do not offer more than 160x120 to remain below 500USD. A 640x480 FLIR sensor for drones with 30Hz used to cost around 5000USD. So prices go up exponentially when you wand more resolution and quality. One thing to consider: if you are able to capture image data with overlay processing, i.e., seeing the physical world in RGB with the thermal imaging on top, is a great way to "fake" a higher resolution. You end up with a non-pixelated image of 640x480px resolution, and still see the thermal properties, which were interpolated from a lower sensor resolution. Works well for short-range imaging, but these low-resolution sensors quickly become useless for long range measurements, where the heat source is very small in regards to the FOV.

An example would be 2 classic image sensor with the same sensor size, the one with more pixels has smaller individual pixel size and most of the time performing worse, is there importance with the thermal sensors how big the individual pixels are?

Yes, this is true. Index finger presses trigger, thumb presses save. It's not too bad, but if you think about it, it may be unnecessary.

I believe it is not. You can use the Audio Input to inject audio signal from a PC if it's not coming through HDMI, but connecting external speakers or a soundbar does not seem possible. I think the best is to use a signal splitter or a sound bar that supports pass-through HDMI.

I believe so. I had sold my used device after approximately 7 years for the price of a new one. Strangely so.
