I saw them in Denver in this era and what a fun show. They only really had the first album of music, so basically just played it. Just a rockin' fun time. Nice to have something simple (and genuine) like this really make it in the mainstream.

К сожалению Гилан не смог быть прежним и это объяснимо. Дважды в одну реку не войдешь.Тем не менее D. P. была и останется моей любимой группой, с оговоркой - присутствие Блэкмора и Лорда - ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО! Да- Пейса и Гловера. Куда без них!?

As usual the mix is SHIT for the keyboards. As usual, guitar is disproportionately louder than everything else Sounds like what we're hearing is a front of house mix.

Saw Deep Purple that summer in Wisconsin in the 10th row. Ritchie and Jon were amazing as always and the rest were on fire too. Gillan's voice was good when I saw them but the show must go on regardless.
