They sound exactly like they've recorded in studio. This line up was perfect

the only good lineup. chris ross was possibly the most important part of wolfmother. many of the riffs were his and he brought ALL of the vibe and mojo. hesketts drumming worked perfectly in the situation

I think its cool that this is still relevant to discuss. This is that one band that was missing from the lineup when I was growing up (Mostly because Andrew was still in diapers). I can hear all of it in them - Kansas, Sabbath, Zeppelin and so on. Brilliant retro prog hard rock, but never got bhetter than that first record and this amazing show. I agree, @@papadelta9485 - this is the real sh!t!

The great Wolfmother... were the pioneers of the wave of all the new retro-hard rock bands that have become since then.... probably we wouldn´t have today bands such as GVF, Dirty Honey, Rival Sons, Matthew Scott, Chase Walker Band, Band Feel, etc... Let´s admit it, Wolfmother is the real deal!!

I saw them in Denver in this era and what a fun show. They only really had the first album of music, so basically just played it. Just a rockin' fun time. Nice to have something simple (and genuine) like this really make it in the mainstream.

WolfBLAND

They probably have this 70-80s rock sound because well... They wanna bring it back. In 2006 its not very normal to have this kind of sound. But its fine if you think that way, i just disagree.

AWE SUM This is I the early years of Wolfmother. Andrew is still figuring out the whole singing while playing on stage thing. Here’s a video of the same venue 10 years later. His voice has matured a lot. They’ve aged like fine wine. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqnbmIeQlJxoh5Y
