Man, the memories. I was a rookie messenger for Special T when this documentary came out, I was a long-haired young liberal messenger living in San Francisco. I look back on these days with a little fondness and a little craziness. I don’t live in San Francisco anymore and I do something entirely different, it’s really weird where life spits us out sometimes.

Love the animation! unfortunately my 24 trailblazer doesn’t do this it just shows Chevrolet and the gold bow tie wonder if there’s a way in settings

I wonder whatever happened to Molly Barker, the filmmaker. I remember her at Special T messenger service in 1993. I worked there, too. I was "26-Pete." Or, Ace Backwords, my street name... PS. Great job, Molly. You captured it.

looks so dated pre digital, bizarre. Cabs cant get it there quicker unless they could fly, and cheaper so it is an attractive alternative. what do they do when it rains?

So you or anyone else does not bother to help her? She could have been murdered and you and the others at the scene would be held morally responsible for not helping. But that takes someone with a brain and a heart to do something human.

That's Bob at 7:00. He was was at Silver bullet in in 1988. I worked there for a stint. I don't know if any body is following this but I might be able to list those that were there. Dano or as Bob would say "Dainsy", Meech, Jeff or "Canucky" , JP , Rick B, Eric or "Airplane". Because I can't remember the names here are two others. "Yo" a girl messenger and one that I think of as the "Professor " because he reminded me so much of Laurent Fignon. If ya don't know who Laurent is that's what Googles for.

A friend sent this to me today, May 6, 2020. My big brother David Garrison is in it. I’ve never watched before and I actually didn’t know it existed. He passed away many years ago. I am at work;a corporate job which is something he was never interested in. It’s ironic. I sat at my desk and cried until mascara (and a little snot) ran down my face. Over the years I forgot what his face looked like. I have photos but they are blurry. I forgot what his voice sounded like. Now I will always be able to go back to this documentary and see and hear him.

Hit while riding? I'm at a "corporate" job now but we go from store to store to store, so I bike. Nearly got hit twice last week. Like you can make 100k a year, but to do the job you gotta be friendly you know that happy smiling guy but what they don't know is 5 seconds ago you were just flying down a hill at the same speed as the cars on a bicycle! Like this is war out here. People are dying!

Curtis and I played music together in military school. He was my best friend back then. I only recently became aware of his passing. Goddamn that guy was funny and bold. Once, in the mess hall, I was fucking around with him and he poured an entire bowl of cereal in my lap. I couldn't believe it. He is missed, and has been for many years.

The easiest of the trails can be extremely difficult in snow or rain. We did USAL road and saw videos of it in the mud right after rain. Totally different trail . Dry vs Wet.. I can imagine how Corral Hollow must be in the snow. The view of the ski resort from the top must have been spectacular with the snow!!

We tried to do Corral Hollow from both ends last weekend, too much snow for my 2003 Xterra. Got stuck not too far in on the Cabbage Patch Road end. Have a winch and a HiLift now ;-)

I've been riding for years and slow Speed maneuvers are hard. The DMV test circle is 24ft across and the MSF course u-turn box is 20ft across. It us a tighter turn radius but this seems easier.
