You forced farmers and ordinary villagers to become warriors. They had no choice but to send home your Arkansas and Alabama white boys in cheap wooden boxes. ⚰️💀 Greetings from Hanoi. 🇻🇳

No DF is not dead. Posted on FB earlier this year that he quit YT: "I just want to say I won't be pumping vids anytime soon. I just wanted to make a post to let people know I was not dead as someone had said. I appreciate all your support and love you all. Regards DF" EDIT: I would ecourage everyone to spread the rumor DF was killed in a love triangle murder-suicide, one ladyboy involved. DF wouldn't respect us otherwise.

Why do you call yourself “Dead Farang”, but in the wrong pronunciation of the word “Farang”? Thai people say “Fah - Raang”, not with a long “a” sound in English.

Moronic to say Slash has the best sole ever. Ever heard of Jimmy Page? Thai people just as happy as are Indos, Cambodian, and Vietnamese people. this guy is clueless.

Marine casualties during the VN War were horrendous. Over 309,000 served in VN during the war. Out of that number over 81,000 were casualties. This included approximately 15,000 were killed. The casualty rate was approximately 25%. Although the Marines represented only 15% of the total number of troops serving in VN. Every fourth name on the the Wall in Washington is a U.S. Marine. Army’s casualty’s rate was 9.5% and the Navy and Air force were roughly were 3% each. I gathered the number from the Defense Dept. There were numerous reasons why Marine casualties why so high but that’s for another story.

I was a Marine Scout Dog Handler attached to various Marine Rifle Companies within the 1st MarDiv from 2/68 thru 3/69. One of the units was Hotel 2/1. We were near the Cua Viet river way up north. We along with Gulf 2/1 conducted a one day raid into the DMZ. Can’t explain the experience. It was surreal. Never ever forget that day. 2:23 Semper Fi.

I bought this book, and while generally it’s helpful, at least half of the pages are dedicated to describing the very complex Thai writing system, which I’m fairly convinced I will never adequately learn. It really slows down the beginning learning process. Moreover, this book needs a good editor. On virtually every lesson there are mistakes, including omitting words in English that appear in the Thai translation, and using the wrong Thai word when giving the Thai translation. Take a look at the last line of the conversation appearing on 152, where the word “Kaoi” appears in the Thai translation, but not the English rendition. There are numerous others typographical errors.
