Dale, I use steel wool for my pvc pipe that goes from my Ham tower coax to the inside of my house. It prevents vermin’s from coming inside my house.

Also a boat load of dryer sheets helps too. Put them everywhere, it helps a bunch. They don't like the smell. Plus when you use it again, it won't be musty, it will be dryer sheety.

Especially around anything cloth. I HATE MOUSE PEE!!!! I can smell them a mile away, and my sense of smell is bad. Lol

Put Bounce dryer sheets on the camper bed. Mice are repelled by them. I learned the hard way. I thought totes were mouse proof but several years ago mice got in the attic & into tote containing my Christmas aphgans. They ruined the afghans. Now I use Bounce dryer sheets in all the totes with success. I haven't seen any mice since.

My suggestion, put a little steel wool in before you duck tape. The mice won't cross it. :)
