This video is beyond fucking confusing. You didn't discuss using the bag or the bag action lever whatsoever in the beginning of this video. This mower is absolute dogshit without the bag, it does nothing but blow grass directly at your legs, shoes, and socks = nothing out the side. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF SHIT MOWER. And do not watch anymore of this guys videos. He cares more about storing this mower under his bed for convenience apparently.

What type of sand is it and where do you purchase it from?
@CpimmsАй бұрын
I used Masonry Sand. I got it from a material place near me that sells a bunch of different materials for construction/landscapers etc. I've also used Medium Sand before from home depot which worked well. I would say try to find a place local to you that sells different materials like I mentioned. That might be your best bet. Especially if you want it delivered to you.

Tough to say honestly. Could be too low that's why it's rubbing or the coilovers themselves could be going bad. Hard to say. You can try raising the height and see if that fixes it. Probably where I'd start

What is the blue handle for? Up & down positions does what?
@Cpimms2 ай бұрын
The Blue Handle next to the motor is the adjustment for bagging clippings or mulching. The down position is for when you're bagging and the up position is for when you want to mulch clippings. There's a flap plug on the inside that blocks the pass through hole for the clippings.
@americasgotseriousproblems26322 ай бұрын
@@Cpimms thanks, I used the mower for the first after I asked the question. I mulch only so I’ll keep the handle up. Nice mower, like it so far. Very light & easy to operate. T I found nothing in the booklet. Lowes has an operator’s manual with table of contents I just saw a little while ago. Toro should have provided a better booklet with mower.

I'm a bit confused. That was not 6 ounces. 6 ounces would be like half a can of soda (2/3 cup), you poured like 1.5 ounces. Also why use a scale? Just use a measuring cup.
@Cpimms2 ай бұрын
It doesn't seem like much because the measuring cup I was using is wider than your traditional small measuring cup. The scale was used for that reason to make sure I got the correct measurement since I was using a wider measuring cup. If you look at other videos on KZbin other people do the same thing as well.

Do you have to do more than just take your wheel off and unlock the bottom ring to start adjusting, or is there more ?
@Cpimms3 ай бұрын
That should be it for the most part to be honest. Might need some lubricant to help break the ring loose. I know some coilovers setups can be slightly different. Just make sure you're turning them the right way for what you're wanting to do such as raise/lower it etc. I will say there might be some trial and error to get it to exactly where you want it. Taking off the wheel and putting it back on a couple times most likely to check height once you're done adjusting.
@Ruineduhhacord3 ай бұрын
@@Cpimms well my front coilsovers are making out, all three rings are sitting on top of eachother, but in the rear, the 2 too collars are on eachother with the spring above, and 2-3 inches of threading then my bottom locking collar, I was twisting the Top 2 collars together trying to lower it, it moved around maybeeee one full very hard fought rotation then won’t not turn again, I’m wondering if they are already maxed, I was thinking they weren’t because the front has all the rings stacked on each other, maxed.
@Cpimms3 ай бұрын
@@Ruineduhhacord Oh ok I gotcha. I think the majority of coilovers go lower in the front compared to the rear. Not sure the specifics of why that is. What you could try is raising it a little and then lowering it back down. Maybe some grit/debris got caught in the threads that's not letting it go past that point. Just an idea you could possibly try.
@Ruineduhhacord3 ай бұрын
@@Cpimms that’s the thing, my front is definitely higher than me rear is, rear is tucking, looks as if it still had room left to go but the front seems as it’s maxed just looking at it, haven’t taken the wheel off, just stuck my phone up there and got a good view of the 3 rings stacked but there’s a good 2-3 of threads in between the Rings

My opinion Toro has been producing poor quality walk behind residential mowers for currant & past 10yrs I currently own Toro AWD ♻️ Recycler with Briggs & Stratton 163cc Engine I also own Husqvarna 3 in 1 with Honda GVC 160 cc Engine. Husqvarna is much better performing mower than Toro .. Toro looks impressive you fight with AWD especially backing up around obstacles…Engine with auto choke on start up is very rough running… I’m going to try replacing carburetor with New 1 to see if it helps ..? Toro needs to get back engineering better product more so Engine Mfg they use ..! Years ago they used Tecumseh & Suzuki Engine on their mowers .. Great Engines of past … I wished go with Kawasaki or Kohler Engine.. Good informative video..👍🏼

I bought the battery version for like $750-$800 last year and can't wait to get rid of it.Toro dropped the ball on this one, the height adjustment is just absurd that adjustment barely does anything especially if you a shorter person. Also one of the front tires just spins off the ground while the other 3 hit the ground. I called toro and they basically said yeah there's nothing we can do about that.Also the price for an 7.5ah battery was $330 ! Its just a bad mower!

Totally get your points. I'm glad I got a gas one before they totally phased out of them here in Cali. I definitely have seen and heard about the wheel issues which is annoying for sure. For my case my mower is always in the lowest setting or right above it so the wheel issue isn't a problem at those heights. The batteries are not cheap by any means that's for sure.
