This figure really needs a redo. The toy's alt mode doesn't look anything like the animation model. And considering the designers of the cartoon worked so close with the toy designers, the figure doesn't look all good to me.

It's first stated in the _Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard_ trilogy. Magnus has a talking sword named Jack that identifies Riptide as a beautiful lady sword. Admittedly, it's not entirely clear how reliable Jack is, since no one else in the story can talk to swords, but I decided to roll with it.

Pointing it out, Mr brunner said 'overthrowing their father, cronus'. CHRONUS is the primordial god of time. Its Chronos/Kronos who was their father. In the rick universe he made kronos and chronus's powers merge sure, but even then it was always KRONOS/CHRONOS

It's a little more complicated than that. Both Kronos and Chronos have been rendered with the -us ending at various points in their history. And if anything, the -us ending is more often used in English for Kronos than for Chronos.

@@OptimusPhillip they're still different entities. Ofcourse the intermixing happens because Greek stories are passed down with a few changes, but I find it funny how people think Kronos is the god of time from the start.

I actually prefer the lotus cakes in the movie. In the books, it’s suggested that the casino credit cards are supposed to be the lotuses but in the Odyssey, eating the flowers themselves was what caused Odysseus’ crew to not want to leave the Island of the Lotus Eaters

I personally interpreted the hotel attractions themselves as being the lotuses. Though the fact that Percy mentions smelling something in the air suggests that the "airborne lotus" idea from the show may not have been a TV invention.

Are you dumb? First of all, his face was not ripped off. That was The Fallen in Revenge of The Fallen. Bone crusher was punched in the face and his eye flew out. Secondly, that’s not an Easter egg. The face is constructed in layers to make it easier to paint certain parts.

Nothing is more natural than a character basically saying "This dialogue is contrived because the characters in the film already know this so there's no reason for the characters to be talking about this."

26:04 The books were not immune from making mistakes about US landmarks either. During the actual stop in St. Louis, Percy supposedly dropped straight down from the arch into the Mississippi River. Only one problem: the area directly below the Arch is dry land, so Percy should have been a pancake. (The TV series changed it to have the water grab Percy midair and drag him to the river.)

Honestly, the most fascinating thing about this movie is that it exists at all. After the steaming pile of Minotaur dung that was The Lightning Thief, it genuinely _baffles_ me that anyone thought making another one of these would be a good idea.

For as much as people didn't care for the first movie, it did _very_ well at the box office, grossing 30 million in its opening weekend, and 200 million worldwide.

The hands are not detachable, as far as I can tell. The vehicle arm is held on with a mushroom peg, though, so it can be removed with some gentle coaxing. The head, meanwhile, was simply friction-fit together on mine, and I was able to get it back on just by lining up the tabs and carefully pushing it back into place.
