Yea this video didn’t actually show how to do anything… jump cuts over all the important stuff, broke my clips on the cover 👍🏽

Id like the 500 just because I’m guessing it has less vibrations with the 2 cylinder engine

Great tutorial! Will definitely be using your ratchet strap lift idea. I plan on doing these same mods to my 300 abs. Just had a few questions and i apologize in advance for my ignorance but I'm a newb to riding and I'm no mechanic. As far as removing caliper, are there any extra steps/bolts/procedures to follow if you have abs? Also, the instructions say to discard the caliper and i believe fender bolts?? Do those need to be replaced if removed? The instructions didn't specify at least i couldn't find it. Anyway, great vid, I'll definitely be using it as a guide.

They should include new bolts with lock right on them. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGq7lqduh8-jhrssi=ug8IfJry0uO2SZNn

@CruisersCorner Thanks! Yeah, I realized that when the parts came in. I was able to perform the modification just fine, ratchet lift worked like a charm! Thanks again.

Do you know anyone that can make keys for the rebel 300 2023? I lost the keys and none of the locksmiths I spoke to can't do it.

By beginner bike, they mean it’s a good bike to first try riding…. At a riding school/clinic. I’m real like off anything other than a 30mph street you will be wanting a lot more power. This bike does not rip!!

Great video! Question for you - I don't have the ability to hang the bike like you do. Any suggestion on another way to suspend the front so I can replace the forks?
@SCARYSTORIES-l6w13 күн бұрын
Put it on double stand ( the one in middle) and have someone sit on its rear seat tilting a bit backwards...that way the front will be suspended in air and you can do these mods

The The Super Comfort from HRP Monkey Garage now costs $380. I just want something reasonable in between 150and 200. shit even 250. I cant believe how damn expensive some of these are. haven't been able to find anything yet that looks nice and comfortable without breaking the bank. I dont want cheap chinese shit but I'm definitely not spending over 300 for a seat

Oil change interval ? The owner’s manual is a bit confusing and there barely any information about schedule maintenance.

Hey I love the bike. I've a question: Did you remove the spring loaded chatter plate on the primary drive gear? Honda put those plates in to keep the straight cut gear teeth from whining, but once the springs get worn out, the playe makes a rattling racket that can sound like a rod knock. I noticed your gears whine, but don't rattle. I plan on taking my preload plate out next week.

hey are you sure you're suppose to measure the dipstick while the bikes upright? kinda seems weird they would have you measure it while sitting on the bike instead of having it on the kickstand for accurate reading.

I'm old shcool in that I like all the gauges. Is there a way to add or revise the bike to have Speedometer, Tachometer? I've seen on other bikes even a Temp guage, Amp guage, Oil Pressure gauge and yes - even a fuel guage (but that's over the top. I'm just curious.

VERY CAREFUL heat gun removal of the product liability BS stickers on the fuel tank. I suggest removal of those for a MUCH better aesthetic. I doubt it will damage the classic value of the bike as long as kept maintained, clean, running, and safe. My 2004 1100 Spirit was also kept inside a conditioned space. I purchased it in 2011 for 3500 bucks (US) with 5,600 miles on the odo. Now, in 2024, it needs fork seals and that is all. On my 3rd front and 2nd rear tire since purchase. Now with 18,000 miles. We did a refresh on the carbs a year ago too. It still looks and runs perfectly. I know some folks with Harleys who keep a Shadow around for local riding.
