Hubby and were just there (again). Love Csmbria! No moonstones to be found but did find some nice pieces of chalcedony. April '24. Happy hunting all.

Hi! My name is Austin and I live near 198. My gf and I have been researching the area and found an article from the King City Rustler dated 1930. It says a man from the Milpitas Ranch hit a doe and donated the meat to a Sanatorium in the Jacalitos Hills. Do you know of anything about the Jacalitos Sanatorium? Thank you

Just to let everyone know this place is closed. You can only see from the outside. Not sure why!!☹️☹️
I salvaged one that is a ‘74. I’m in the process of rebuilding the engine. Once i have it up and running then I’ll refit and adjust the old chassis to edge again.

I have mine as a Antique. Stopped using the edger. Now I am using a Battery pack Ryobi Edger etc. The best to you on your edger! 😊
@williamgrissom9022 Жыл бұрын
I have an Apache edger with what appears the same B & S 4-stroke engine. The controls are identical, but the two arms are bolted together instead of spaced apart, and no top strap to the engine. Guessing from the same factory and just an earlier model. Still runs fine, but will sell it since haven't used it in 15 years. I find cutting the grass at the sidewalk with a flat spade easier, removing a chunk of dirt and grass which migrates down the slope, then move those to fill bare spots. Also I now have a low wall on the front so no edging there. V-belt is stamped "4L270 R17". I'll refill with 10W40 diesel oil since B & S now recommends 10W30 synthetic, and gets hot here.

Does anyone know of a streetmap online anywhere of the fictional Cabot Cove Maine? I'm trying to understand the relationship between show locations.. Jessica's home to the dock or the sheriff's office to the Dr's office etc. I can't seem to find any work done by others showing a fictional map of the area of the show. Any ideas? Thx all..

My wife’s dad was a truck driver. Before she even went to first grade, she had 2 piggy banks the size each one of a football filled with coins that she got from her daddy when he came home from work every day’s pockets. Both of these banks were completely filled before 1962.. when they were completely filled, her mother put them up in the attic..She has yet to let me check those banks out. They were in her mother’s house up until 2016 in the attic. Now they are here, and I’m trying to convince her to let me at least catalog the coins
