Hey D. Law! Just literally picked up one of these. Saw your video, definitely gonna do some of those upgrades! I know it's been a few years now. My 1st attempt will be the Speedometer. Do you have any tips for me or possibly brand and the work involved??? Please lmk, it would greatly appreciated.

@@ErikPerez-x5d go to eBay and look up speedo gauge for scooter, and I just did foam on top shaped it and put plastidip in black, the speedo I have will not bolt up directly to the back but you will be able to see where you can bolt it up, look up 150cc digital LCD gauge and go from there do your research 4 stroke, any more questions just ask

so has anybody had an issue with buying and installing a new cdi and spark plug and it starts bogging down . I have to release the throttle and hit it again for it to actually go with speed once i do that it goes and then starts sounding choppy and bogs again

You would probably have to adjust the air fuel mix screw too because now with new cdi it will perform differently, you have to adjust until you get it the way you want

I ordered it from eBay and there is a speed sensor wire I attached it to, there should be instructions on how to wire it

@@dragon60651 that’s awesome my dude I hope u have the best memories and the biggest smile with them I uploaded what mine looks like rn it’s rough but kinda dig it rn I got 6 more things until it’s road worthy again wanted to be different and throw a turbo on it Ik it’s stupid but that sound is so good been watching other people do it and feel confident next winter I got the bike crashed and main fuse was fried not the green fuse itself but the solenoid got it for $600 kid put the battery in backwards and fried it and reworked the wiring and turned on and has 17,521 miles I was ecstatic lol this season I’m gonna efi swap I’m tired of tuning carbs 😕

@@Illogical2ya well with the katana you will have to tune the carbs, I got dynojet kit on it and uni air filter full delkavic exhaust

Looking for a muffler upgrade link. .Mine failed in the middle and ratting. It runs fine but the sound is annoying I strapped the middle of the muffler to the frame and that helped a lot but still I need a new muffler. Thanks

I have this bike. So far I changed the carb and I made the front foot pegs also folding because I kept hitting my shins on them when I would put it away in a tight space. I'm also wrapping the bike which is a pain in the ass

I believe a have 140/70-13 rear and 130/70-13 for the front, and they are pirelli tires

That's what I went went with. Didn't want to have to shave the swing arm. Haven't ridden the bike in about 7 or eight years. Crack back rim & busted back tire. Had the scooter for about 9yrs . So I'm not new to knowing of you and a few others. Thanks

Check the starter solenoid make sure that's not bad

And also check to make sure they don't give you bad batteries
