Worked for me. I had a previous engineer using a bastion host to connect to new instances. Problem is he took his SSH keys with him so making endpoints was a good workaround.

Great video! One cuestion: if i configure the extra buttons, does the mouse save the new button configurations so it can work in other computeres without the need to install the peripheral manager in every computer?

Thanks for this. I like the way you showed the path of the traffic. Could you please explain how all those outbound traffic work? As they can go to 'all', does it mean they can access the internet? Even from the private subnet?

Yes the outbound traffic is enabled via a NAT gateway that is attached to the subnet. So this only allows one way traffic which means that your instance in private subnet can ping internet to download patches or upgrade packages etc. But from public internet no one can access your instance. Let me know if you need more details .. i can help you understand further in details how it works may be over a call or something

don't do this, better to use host management under aws system manager, you would be regretting this in the long run, if you manually add the created role per server.

your instance must have a elastic ip attached , i also faced this issue but discovered that the elastic ip is must for the SSM to work

A solution is create 2 endpoint with ssm and ssmessages and wait around 4-5 minutes. Idk why take so long but it works for me. In addition, add por http and https to the security group
