The best part about this mod is playing it on a new save, doing literally nothing and beelining for the mod and watching everyone obsess over some random ass mailman who has done literally nothing aside from surviving a bullet to the head

Video game stories are hard to make because unlike a book or tv you have to put effort into it yourself to enjoy it, not to mention giving the player complete control makes it extremely difficult to not have the immersion of the story broken

I hated the lack of movement acceleration in the original Skyrim (it's fixed in the remasters), I hated it in Fallout 3. Now that I've started Fallout 4, the movement and the player controls are sooo muuuch smoother, it's a lot more enjoyable.

There's a LOT of crap this mod does that just takes lore behind the shed and violates it before slitting its throat, like: Why would the Legion send a detachment all the way to Portland when they haven't conquered all of Utah as seen in Honest Hearts. How a group of NCR deserters are able to repair and maintain multiple vehicles from Vertibirds to tanks, as well as have the ability to modify two Vertibirds to go into space, despite not having the backing of the NCR proper, and even then they shouldn't be able to have that tech. Why would the mod authors take so much time referring to the Enclave as fascist and "objectively evil" and not worthy of joining, even though you can join the Legion and emotionally abuse a young girl into becoming your sex slave Why does so many people in Portland, Oregon know about the Courier, despite them not really being important and the only way the NCR deserters and Legion would know and care is if the Courier helped the NCR at Hoover Dam If the Enclave have control over Archemedies II, and have an army of Frank Horrigans, why not begin a full scale invasion? Like, it's disturbing that the drug and sex addicted lizard people make the most sense in this whole thing lorewise, since the idea of mutant animals becoming sentient and forming a society was toyed with in cut content (still horribly executed though)

@2:09 its poorly worded, but to make the case; do you believe how you use software is your business and nobody elses? If so, telemetry should be opt-in, not op-out. If someone, say a developer, finds how you use software to be of value to them, that doesn't mean that they can automatically have your usage information. Knowledge about how you use the software (should) belong to you. Thats where the economic surveillance comes in; if someone's usage information has economic value, whom does that value belong to? Obviously internet service and social media companies have been sucking that information up for 30 years of internet with basically no regard to such things like user privacy and rights. Its not surprising when a hereto now piece of software that was without such problems or practices not only decides to take up that practice, but uses companies who will also take that information for their own uses as well, furthering the economic benefit with no voice to the user that generated the purportedly desirable info in the first place. @3:28 this is obviously a CYA clause to absolve a company of liability. But the case that people rightly make is its hard to need to worry about your data being sent to 3rd parties like govt goons, when the 2nd party doesn't collect it in the first place.
