16:15 that is absolutely my favorite thing that i watch for, when a non-rock/metal reactor realizes that the other instruments are doing more than just sounding good or going wild. A good guitar solo is another verse of a song, just no words and instead speaks purely to the heart and soul

You REALLY need to react to the music video to A Little Piece Of Heaven to truly appreciate the lyrics / art. Its... interesting & you'll think of the song in a different light. Loved your reactions my bro. Love from the UK.

Et cetera or etc. means "so on and so forth." It means there are other things in the group that do not need to be mentioned as the listener already knows those things, either from past discussions or general knowledge.

(Edit: Listen to the the other shit! Please do! Its great, and much of it just live recordings before the fame, or great live perfomances. Even the second album, released after his death, has bangers on it. Carefully finished and released. No bullcrap or money hungriness.) like your honest energy man. Its giving me a great big smile on my face, seeing you discover a great artist. Sucks he died so soon. If you wanna hear him sing even crazier vocals, check out the "Live at Siné" album. Its a fucking gem. Brilliant solo perfomance. Hope you get yourself some good youtube money bro. Keep at it. Your energy is good and relatable. Too mamy fake people out there. Theres still a market for realness, im sure youll get a good following, if you stick to being you just like this.

Of course rock is growing on you. Both rock and hip hop come from the blues, the most pure form of American music. Radiohead is post-rock/art-rock. They do not conform the expectations of the masses. They make the exact music they intend to make. And Radiohead's music will drive trends in music for decades to come, like the Beatles and Jimi.

They use relational half steps where they bounce between the note you expect and the half step above or below. It allows them to bring in any note so long as it has a reference note that anchors it through one of the scale's notes/chords or the half step above or below respective to the position of the previous half step.

if you look up fiona apple and every classic new york rapper, then look up where she's from and what era she was mainstream in, you'll understand where her aggression and her sound comes from. and when i tell you people hated her, people really hated her. she didn't have a steady band, it was usually just her and her piano. her producer, jon brion, crafted the world of instruments around the way she banged out her songs. like, all your favorite geeky rappers would agree that fiona apple is a rapper masquerading as a singer, lol.

The drummer on this album was Jimmy “the rev” Sullivan, commonly referred to as one of the most creative metal drummers oat. He’s up there with goats like neil peart and danny carey. I’ve been playing drums for about 15 years and he’s still one of my biggest inspirations. Dude was a beast on the kit
