Almost Easy was originally made for the 2007 Transformers movie, but it wasn’t done so it made the soundtrack but not in the movie. So you were kinda right about it lol

if you look up fiona apple and every classic new york rapper, then look up where she's from and what era she was mainstream in, you'll understand where her aggression and her sound comes from. and when i tell you people hated her, people really hated her. she didn't have a steady band, it was usually just her and her piano. her producer, jon brion, crafted the world of instruments around the way she banged out her songs. like, all your favorite geeky rappers would agree that fiona apple is a rapper masquerading as a singer, lol.

The drummer on this album was Jimmy “the rev” Sullivan, commonly referred to as one of the most creative metal drummers oat. He’s up there with goats like neil peart and danny carey. I’ve been playing drums for about 15 years and he’s still one of my biggest inspirations. Dude was a beast on the kit
