Im just a bit clueless on how the class-action lawsuit is going to work. Honeys customers didnt get scammed, right? So they cant bring it. Online content creators wont be able to prove that their affiliate commission got replaced by that of honey, right? Especially considering Honey works for thousands of online stores. How is the argument supposed to go? How are the plaintiffs gonna prove precisely when, for how much and which online content creator got scammed over the last 10 years? How and where would the data be saved, that shows that a purchase wasnt facilitated by honey but by an content creator? I just dont know how the damaged parties are supposed to prove how much they lost in affiliate rewards. And I dont know if the online stores have grounds for a lawsuit. Its not like they lost any money through this.

The problem here is communication. Someone needed to have the 2nd floor guys complete attention and hammer home the fact that the "call" was made before the 10 second counter ran out. This needs to be 100% clear to ALL people - there is too much talking, too much confusion for the right person to know exactly what happened. Im sure he would have ruled differently had someone effectively communicated this to him.
