Electrician here. Spade bits are WAY faster in a drill than an impact. Try it next time you get a chance.

I just got this...are you still there? I absolutely don't trust the battery life on electric tools. I also hate Ryobi but it's the affordable option for now. I wish this was plug in!

I think your concrete surface is worse then mine! After buying 10 drums of primer and single part epoxy I read reviews with a lot of people saying the followed the prep instructions and still had pealing issues. I went out and brought some expensive 2part epoxy kits. I think I will use the flakes which will also help hide imperfections on the surface also.

Also your spade bit has the screw in tip which makes the bit drive in for a faster whole.that bit I wouldn't use in construction as well. My main use for anything with a screw drive to it is in wide and thick pieces of wood. I've Used them in some rough wood crafts.

i've seen people get marble, granite or porcelain tiles and just stick either cork or those little clear feet you normally put on drawers underneath as well.

Thanks for the video. Now, what about those saw bits you showed at the end of the video? I know those come on fairly small sizes, too, so that can't be the distinguishing feature.

Love the subject and getting straight to the point. My only criticism is that your audio levels are a little low and I had to turn my headphones up to hear you properly.

I did not know this. I use forstner bits and they do tend to be difficult for the holes I’m trying to cut- it never occurred to me that I probably should be using a paddle, or spade, bit. Thank you for the info!
@GingerFan30116 күн бұрын
I like my holes clean so I guess I need the Forstner bit

I actually have been making these for 4 years now, I spend about 1 week a month producing them and I generate about 10k monthly. The rest of my time I spend travelling or on hobbies.

I have one, I do not use it to suck up wet leaves any more.. I use it in areas that my lawn mower cant reach and also on the outside under my hedge.. I also use no smaller than 6AH Ryobi 40v with it. I have 3 6ah, 1 7.5 ah and a 12 ah . I got these from other equip I bought from Ryobi. Yes its annoying when you get a blockage but Ryobi told me not to use it on wet leaves.

I have an old electric Black and Decker blower/mulcher/vac. I blow all leaves to one area then use the mulcher/vac. This worked great for a small yard. We now have much more property with lots of big trees, and this method is a nonstarter.

I subbed for the mistake bc that is absolutely something I would do if I hadn't seen you do it first. I already messed up the cuts on this in my first feeble attempt. I can't wait to see more of your work! Maybe I'll be brave enough to do a youtube woodworking channel!
