was there any need to mark the depth on the drill bit when drilling into plasterboard, like you did? ABSOLUTELY NOT

You get an A++, concise, and you covered everything including spacing your brackets which I couldn't remember, so BIG thanks for this! 🇨🇦

how do you install the hard to reach screws? Not the straight L bracket but the brackets that have items in the way of the top hole.

Draper Expert range are fantastic. Have 3 different Draper Expert 12 point socket sets 1/4", 3/8" + 1/2" and they are professional quality tools, never let me down ever. Bought Snap-On in the past and the massive leap in price just isn't justified. Over £100 just for a ratchet is ridiculous, £200+ for a screwdriver set! That's just crazy. Bought the Draper Expert large screwdriver set with the clear colour coded plastic handles and they are fantastic for just over £50 with a much better grip comfort than the Snap-Ons costing between £40-£50 per screwdriver. First Draper Expert item I bought was the Aviation Tin Snips over 20+ years ago and they are still as good as ever. The lifetime warranty makes it a no-brainer to stick with Draper.

Really useful practical guide on repointing a modern wall. If would any be pointers require reliable technical guidance on repointing, do take the trouble to read the Building Research Establishment publication “Good Repair Guide No 24” (Repointing external brickwork walls) as this provides useful information, including when does worn pointing affect structural integrity and the importance of using lime pointing on old solid walls.
