is there a way to build an RF oscillator in the Hz range? down to Schumann freq?

I came across your channel by chance a couple of days ago. The way you explain the content is excellent. And I like the very useful add-ons to the standard circuit. Just one minor thing that I would like point out at 1:15 in the video. In the 2nd box of the Oscillation conditions, it states that A1=-L1/L2. On the other hand, the 1st box of the Oscillation conditions states that A1=-X2/X1=-L2/L1. I believe the correct A1 is -L2/L1.

Whoa, really NO ONE else speaks about the current (Norton's) side! There is one but I could not say that they speaks about it because they gloss over it, and says impedance for AC is too complicated, only DC one is explained. (I do not dislike them. They are one of the very few people on the world wide web who can explain complex stuff the easy and simple way. It is just that I feel incomplete with that AC part.)

Thanks for posting. Build a RL Colpitts oscillator circuit using the 2N3904 NPN transistor. Clean 934 KHz Sine Wave no distortion. Tried a 2N2222 NPN slight clipping at the bottom. Also tried a 2N4401 transistor major clipping top and Bottom. Have you ever done a comparison of different types?

The meter doesn't consume power? How is it powered, batteries? I thought VA was the apparent power (on paper) and watts was the actual power after your losses.

i don't understand why you say it functions really well as a current source. like you say, the same current level can be achieved by many voltages at many different temperatures but how is this useful? if its so hard to control, then its not a great current source, right?

Aaron, your videos are by far my favorite for these explanations. I know many people say you move too fast, but I do prefer this type of video. I love having an overload of information in a short period of time, because I can rewatch the video multiple times to clear up confusion if needed. And there's not a lot of dead time to wade through. Your video on the common base configuration is by far the best I've seen on KZbin. I have been studying LC oscillators for quite some time, I would love to see how you would approach determining the input and output amplitude of something like a Colpitts oscillator. I dont think a small signal analysis would quite work in most cases, have you ever considered making a video on large signal analysis?

If a consumer is supplied with two phases of 230VAC using 2 cables from a 3-phase 400VAC system with 3 cables, the current calculation for the two phases must account for the factor of √3.

Sort Of Unrelated But Does Anyone Know If It's Possible To Control A Relay My Monitoring Voltage Drop Across A Switch? The Situation: 12v Car Battery Has A Main Battery Disconnect Switch On Positive Terminal. From There It Goes To Alternator And Vehicles Circuits. When Engine Is Running There Becomes 2 Power Sources Active. When The Alternator And Battery Are Disconnected Via The Battery Disconnect Switch There Is A Voltage Drop Measured Between The Disconnect Switch (the battery resting voltage and the alternator charging voltage) When This Occurs (1.1v or greater) I Need A Relay To Trigger So That I Can Disable Engines Ignition To Shut Off The Engine And Stop The Alternator From Charging, Effectively Powering Down The Entire System. I Can Measure The Voltage Drop With A Multimeter But When I Use Adjustable Voltage Detection Boards They Register Either The Battery Voltage Or Alternator Voltage When Disconnecting The Battery. They Won't Measure The Voltage Difference Of 2 12v + Power Sources . Any One Got Any Ideas?

Great explanation. I like how you were able to explain step by step how to get to pass band and Q factor using transfer function. Being able to get all the necessary equation is important for me when I calculate worst case parameters of any circuit. Highly appreciated!

I've just started watching passive filter series and it is very well explained! If I may only a small tip, it would be a slightly slower tempo of speaking, maybe sometimes make a pause at more complex things. It would give some time to digest the information. Although, overall great work Sir!

I don't think It's okay to say when RL = Rs in Norton model, transferred power is maximum. these two models can be replaced but this conclusion is not right.
