Off to Spain in December, and wanting to buy a travel drone, never flown one before, and wondered what you would recommend? Like the little Neo selfie drone, but worried about the noise.

Hi Ian. We have a proper DJI Mavic Mini pro 2 drone for main drone shots but have recently started to use a Hover Air x-1 which is a really useful little drone that doesn’t need a controller. It essentially follows you around.

@ianpotter9896 The x1 is not too bad. We’ve used it in towns and people notice it but it’s not too obtrusive. The Mavic I’d say is louder but that’s up in the air so you don’t hear it at all only when you first take off.

Would love to see how you’ve connected it up to the lynx, did you just connect it onto one of the same terminals as something else on the lynx?

Hi. We didn’t connect it directly to the Lynx. The Lynx is just for the main stuff like EasyPlus, solar, batteries etc. the heater is just taking its power from the 12v terminals. 👍

I don't know why people would even paint tongue & groove pine or cedar?? You totally loose the beauty of the wood! Use a water-based spar urethane instead. My opinion 🤷

Hi Alan n Caz 😊 Came across your videos coz I'm thinking of trunking down to spain myself. Done touring in France a few times I much prefer not to use toll roads aswell. Would you say it was more expensive on diesel not using tolls or do you think it works out the same in cost if using tolls ?? Great vids by the way. And what an amazing sunset 🌇

Hi there. Glad you’re enjoying the Spain roadtrip series. I’d say it’s more expensive with tolls but it is slightly quicker with tolls. We prefer the non toll roads so we can see a little more of the countryside rather than just motorways. 👍 Any more questions feel free to ask 🙂

Yes, you got Mass Rock right 👍, Catholic masses and religious education were strictly outlawed. Somewhere like this was probably the secret location where the local community would meet for mass each week. The priest would also have to be spirited in, after being in hiding for the rest of the week. Great video, it looks amazing there

Absolutely amazing video. Me and my wife did a mini break there about 5 years ago, we saw the break on secret escapes and just booked it. Cost about £800 for 2 of us half board for 4 nights. Absolute top value … perfect little hotel on Lake Bled and veranda and view over the lake to the little island… we hired a car for about 80 euros … went to the Soca valley but a part where you could walk along the river on wooden bridges along the vertical sides of the river walls. Incredible place. Another day we just randomly got on a train and headed towards some mountain and lake ski resort but no snow as was summer but we took the cab,e came up to the top …incredible. Cat remember the lakes name, I called it Lake BOHICA as it sounded a bit like that word…that stands for Bend Over Here It Comes Again… lol an American word made up in WWII lol… High,y recommend this country it’s beautiful ❤

Hi. We parked at a little motorhome car park about 10 mins walk from the town. It was €4 per hour 👍 I believe if you follow rules for drone flying then you should be fine. Check the rules though just to be certain 👍

Hi Gordon. Glad you enjoyed the vids. Van build… exciting times! We went from Calais down to the Dordogne and across the Pyrenees into Pedra Forca area. It’s a really nice drive. We did toll free to enjoy the landscape better. It’s a really nice drive.
