I know this is old but im a noobie and during the day i was building this farm and i broke into the farm to see and it was kinda bright in there even without torches and i used soul flame campfire. No sources of light clming in. The only difference is i used spruce trapdoors and deepslate but idk if that would matter. Let me know if im doing anything wrong

Finally, a normal simple gold farm that isn't over the top and doesn't take hours/days just to get the materials itself. Finished building it and works great!

No golems will spawn, as there is no danger( for example a zombie) and also why do you need 5 villagers

Yes you can! Just try to replicate the structure of the first floor for the others, and you'll get tons more gunpowder.

The golems keep spawning outside the thing but I have no room for the leaves so I’m using what I can.

I think spawns below usually would be stopped if you are ~128 blocks above the level of the surface beneath you. So, spawning will only take place in the spawner.
