Is the Godox ADs mount still operable with this mount?

Yes , you can use it with the adaptor on the flash. The way it mounts keeps the face of the flash free. It just goes on the exterior of the body.

Thank you, can you tell me if the flashes are the same width? Will a Godox V1C fit the Profoto Clic Softbox?
@tonyroscaphotography
@tonyroscaphotography 3 күн бұрын
The Godox is just a hair bigger and if i remember correctly it dies not fit the Profoto click . You should look into parapop 28”softboxes because it fit both brands , have the front diffuser removable and it holds the flash secure attached . Profoto click is notorious for not a strong attachment and the flashes jeep falling off. Even with my Profoto Ax i use the parapop softboxes because of the secure fit
@SimonAckerman
@SimonAckerman 3 күн бұрын
@@tonyroscaphotography That’s really helpful! Thanks for the info, I’ll look into the Parapop. I have the Godox softbox but it takes a little longer to set up, whereas the Profoto click is less fiddly and super quick to set up. A lot easier for on the go. Eventually I’ll buy the profoto A10 when I have the budget.

@@SimonAckerman the parapop its very easy to set up- it just pops 😜 the same way profoto click does. . Dont forget the profoto flashes need a very costly remote trigger. The cheaper connect one is garbage or you can use it as back up .

Hello Tony , Can ( or how can I ) fit an AD300pro to the back of a Magbox 24 Octa ?
@tonyroscaphotography
@tonyroscaphotography 23 сағат бұрын
Hi , I dont know any ways to attached the AD300 to a magbox unless you use a bowens mount adaptor. Funny, but I am trying to do this for the last few days and I just receive the adaptors yesterday.. I will do either a short vid or if I have time a long form with the adapters I use . Great timing on the question and hopefully will help you.

And def the new heads wont work with the older flash bodies .

Thanks for this video, I have a question concerning the use of one of its flashes in use that would replace a cobra flash, to have a more versatile and more compact flash and with a falcam accessory from ulanzi ( more compact than a speed light bracket) tilt it to be able to use it in portrait and landscape framing and avoid shadows, I know that the Profoto A2 flash has no internal zoom and that the ad100 has one and i thinks has the same range as the v1, do you think it's possible with one of the two?
@tonyroscaphotography
@tonyroscaphotography 22 күн бұрын
If you have to handheld the rig i will recommend the V1 , the AD 100 will be my second choice because you can zoom out to cover a wider area and A2 will be last . I still think if you consider the AD 100 and A2 should be off camera on a stand to use them with bigger light modifiers and you can shoot vertical or horizontal with no restriction . I think the Ulanzi has a cold shoe adaptor on the top to mount accessories? If yes V1 its easy to mount if you want to go with A2 or AD 100 you need to find a way to mount them . Are you not concern the rig will be to heavy ?

I was going to ask Tony the plastic hard diffuser that Neewer puts out, you’re saying it’s not as good as those silicone diffusers? I’m only saying this because I’m thinking about returning the plastic dome diffuser and just purchasing the Neewer silicone diffuser. Let me know if you can please. Thank you.
@tonyroscaphotography
@tonyroscaphotography 25 күн бұрын
The plastic dome diffuser its a very good all purpose item . If you want to increase the apparent size of your flash you go with the bigger silicone ones . Not a significant change but its better. These diffusers help spreading the light a little more . Depends on how you use your flash , on camera or off camera . Keep the one you have and learn how to feather it and after that you can decide if you need the other ones .

Honest and informative. No matter what new small modifiers come on the market, if they are small, they cannot compete with larger modifiers - especially where soft light is concerned. The MagSphere is very useful, but it doesn't replace a large modifier in most situations.

That test is not reliable, go out into the field and prove it, perhaps by putting a subject where the light from the ad 200 is already lost, so if that 600 is not capable of filling it in, we would believe you.

I remember seeing somewhere that there seems to be a difference between the flash triggered by the test button on a Profoto and the flash triggered from the hot shoe. I’m not sure if this could be the cause of the issue. Profoto has also officially stated that the A2 has half a stop more exposure compared to the A10, which is quite puzzling...

@tonyroscaphotography
@tonyroscaphotography Ай бұрын
