What I would have preferred over a touch screen is a unit that can swivel up and down. I have the Xpro and it's great, except when you put your camera on a stand pointing down, or just up high on a tripod, then you can't see the screen.

You are on something here! A screen you can flip out and swivel would be absolutely great or a matching phone app at least . You have a very good analytical mind to observe the fine details! Respect !

I like the new remote, just wish I could locate a tempered glass *SCREEN PROTECTOR* for it. What you say about the new Godox flash makes sense.

Your ideea its gold brother! I will try to cut out an iphone screen protector to see if it works ! But ya’ it will be great! Thank you for sharing this ideea ! I will let you know if the touch screen it will work with screen protection

Wanting an updated AD100!!!! Hopefully slightly more powerful within that same size. They just discounted them on Adorama yesterday. Along with the new nano remote interface, it would seem logical all their flashes from now on will move to a ore modern LCD interface. I would guess sometime this year, there will be a new AD100 (maybe AD200 hopefully) and Profoto are also due to update their A10 and A2. Fingers crossed!

An updated AD100 will be amazing ! Need to fill up that savings for gear account asap! 😂. Thank you for sharing the Adorama discontinued the AD100. Need to keep on eye in them! Cheers!
