Currently daily driving 2001 ram 2500, 4.10 gearing in the rear (factory installed) and stock suspension, you don’t need all these “upgrades” just buy a real truck and not one of these shitty modern ones.

Whilst I think it’s an innovative idea. I would be skeptical to install it in something that is for long and gruelling trips around Australia where it may fail to water and general harsh conditions. But, like I said, fantastic idea.

@ that’s a ford ranger, he’s talking about 1 ton diesel trucks… I ran 37s on a near stock half ton dodge for a year and it didn’t hurt anything besides a ujoint that was probably already bad, i’ve had my diff apart since then and it’s still perfect

I drive a Ranger in Australia. Recently on holiday in Alaska, we hired an F350 (with a slip-on camper). That thing felt HUGE, around 4.5 tons, and sadly it was petrol (gaaas, they call it) - lacking power uphill. Chatting to a local, he referred to his "little Ranger".

Considering how much you’re moving in total and the gearing is likely taller highway gears, that’s actually pretty good. The Land Cruiser might get somewhere around that amount. Might.

Yeah, so this isn't sufficient to explain why a lift kit is needed. You state that they're needed to keep one's family safe when touring, but you don't explain or show what they do that makes them worthwhile. You just assume that you've sold us on that point and move on.

@@Thebiggestcheeze You moron. This person posted the same post three times. The definition of spamming is posting the same message over and over. From your statement that youtube has character limits, I can infer that you believe spamming is a message that is long and includes a word, phrase, sentence, or other forms of text that is repeated over and over. Sometimes this is the case, however you can clearly see that this is a different form of text. Next time when arguing a point, it is important to fact check so you don't make a mistake such as this again.傻瓜。

I like the idea of the 3500 but because I want it as a daily driver I don't want a harsh ride unladen. Probably a test drive will help me. Cheers.
