What mic set up do you have on? It's really good audio quality.
@PRO356Adventures4 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment @JinKazama92 , I'm planning on doing a MotoVlog setup video in January. I'm using DJI Osmo Action 4 cameras, A roll, which is my helmet cam, and B roll, which is the handlebar cam. You need a BOYA BY-K4 cable that gives you a 3.5mm TRS handoff, and the helmet mic is a MOVO Flexible Gooseneck ACM400. The camera is set to either negative 7 or 8 decibels.

@PRO356AdventuresАй бұрын
Definitely do this trail. It takes a bit to get to the trailhead, but it's very much worth it. We love this spot. You can also hang out and hike on the mesa, which has wonderful views. The last bit getting to the actual "Robbers Roost" is a bit treacherous but you can get all the way up to that last part easily and with no difficulty. We have a timeshare in Sedona and go every year, we love it. Have fun.

Did you require lockers at all in the first half? I have a 2017 Silverado 6.2l, 3.5 inch lifted 33s. Rear has an auto locker so normally does pretty well. Wanting to get to the sand hill and camp, then turn around and come back out. Possible in such a rig?
@PRO356AdventuresАй бұрын
Yeah, I think you'll be just fine. If I recall, the only place I used lockers, and probably only the rear, was on the sand hill. That is a seriously steep hill, and that just doesn't translate on video. I also don't recall using lockers anywhere after the sand hill. Another option for you would be to do the trail from the other end, as the back half is a lot more picturesque. I do recall the trail being narrow in spots though. I did see a full-size Raptor on that day. I hope to make it back there one day, that trail is probably the most fun of any trail I've done. Thanks for the comment!

Never been to the Tesoro viejo trails. They might be a touch better. Besides the uphill parts lol
@PRO356AdventuresАй бұрын
I've ridden all through Tesoro Viejo. It's fun to head East and through Ball Ranch which will dump you out on Friant Ave. Sycamore is different because it's a more secluded and quiet spot. I typically see a lot of wildlife back there as well. I still ride it every week. Have fun at TV and keep exploring. Thanks for the comment.
@LostThymeOverlandAdventures4 ай бұрын
What about doing the trail backwards so that you go down the sand hill?
@PRO356Adventures3 ай бұрын
That's a great idea. The only reason I did not go that way is because it was January and I was worried about the water level being too high for the 20+ creek crossings and possibly not being able to cross and having to turn around and go back up the sand hill. In the summer months or a not too wet year, reverse is probably the best plan.

Hey @ToddMitchellpro356ADV My store has a 2023 and 2024 version of this bike. The 2023 is brand new and is $3k cheaper than the 2024. Do you know if there are any differences? I couldnt really find any but maybe the tires?
@PRO356Adventures5 ай бұрын
Hey there @robm78 - I have took a couple of peaks at the 2024 and I don't see any discernible differences. Go with the 23' and save yourself the 3K which you can apply towards some good riding gear. Thanks for the comment and happy trails.

Thanks for the comment and congrats on the new bike! I think it's just an unbelievable piece of technology! It does everything really well in my opinion. Maybe that will come with a higher risk of maintenance issues but oh well, I guess if I just rode it on pavement, I'd have a lot less risk of something going wrong with it. That's not why I bought it though! Happy Trails.

Great video! Beautiful footage. Did you consider any other drones before you bought the DJI?
@PRO356Adventures7 ай бұрын
I'm a real estate broker by trade so I've used a drone for marketing videos since 2015. I previously had a Mavic Pro but the Mini 3 Pro really works good for real estate video. The Mini 4 Pro is supposedly much better at subject tracking and the ultimate is the Sydio drone which I would love to have but they no longer sell to consumers which is a bummer. Thanks for the comment.

Have you had any problems with the bike like the 21,22 and 23 model?
@PRO356Adventures7 ай бұрын
When I first got the bike, I had an issue with the front tire not holding air. It was a slow leak that progressively got worse over time. The dealer had to end up changing the inner rubber gasket liner on both the spokes and then the other rim liner and I haven't had an issue since. No other issues (knock on wood), I'm at 3,000 miles so far. Thanks for the comment.
